WSOP 2023: Daniel Negreanu Misses Out On 7th Bracelet

UPDATE: WSOP 2023 $600 Online Deepstack Championship

Daniel Negreanu busted in the 9th position. Sadly, for the Canadian pro, he couldn’t convert this deep run into a win.

Yes, the moment has finally arrived when we can say that Daniel Negreanu is inching very close to winning his 7th World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in the $600 Online Deepstack Championship. Since this event is not covered live like the other WSOP 2023 tournaments, we only know that DNegs is the 4th highest stack out of the 11 players that remain in the game.

Tristan Wade shared a post on his Twitter handle that ‘KidPoker’ spinned 2 BB into 20 BB and was running deep. Now, the question remains: Can the GGPoker ambassador spin a win out of this $600 buy-in WSOP event to up his bracelet tally?

Those who are keeping a close eye on the Canadian pro’s journey in WSOP 2023, know that he had just about  decent run so far. In a media interview, DNegs made a claim of winning 3-4 bracelets in the 53th edition of the WSOP.

But we are yet to see Negreanu clinch a WSOP gold bracelet. So far, a bracelet win has been elusive but maybe the six-time WSOP bracelet winner can turn that around with the $600 Online Deepstack Championship event.

Talking about the WSOP 2023 Main Event, Negreanu failed to make Day 3 and busted on Day 2abc. Another event where poker people thought DNegs would make a headway was Event #43: $50,000 Poker Players Championship. Here, sadly, Negreanu busted on Day 1 at the 67th spot for no money.

DNegs exited early in Event #29: $100,000 High Roller. He busted on Day 1. Fans of this Canadian pro expected fireworks from him but we are yet to see this poker dynamite make heads turn with a stunning victory. Will DNegs spin the game in his favour to win a WSOP gold bracelet in the $600 Online Deepstack Championship?
