WSOP 2022: Aditya Agarwal Advances To Day 4 Of Event #21


The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 is raging on amid power-packed action at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. The series recently saw Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack concluding its Day 3 which had 271 survivors battling to race ahead. The top 39 players progressed onto Day 4. Among these 39, is Indian poker pro Aditya Agarwal

The Indian pro has made it to Day 4 of the event and will resume play with a stack of 4,300,000 chips which is 14 big blinds (BB). He qualified via Day 1B with 230,500 chips (77 BB). Other Indian players including Muskan Sethi, Neel Joshi, Abhinav Iyer, Aditya Sushant, Siddharth Karia, and others had also made it to Day 2 via the same flight, however, couldn’t survive.

Another Indian-origin player Ankit Ahuja, has also progressed onto Day 4, with 9,125,000 chips (30 BB) at his disposal. Japan’s Yoshiya Agata is leading the pack on Day 4 with the highest stack of 19,475,000 (65 BB). 

The $1,500 buy-in event, recorded an entry-field of 6,501 players who generated a final prize pool of $8,678,835. The top 976 places are in the money and the min-cash is set at $2,400. Indians who made it in the money include former WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer, who busted at the 869th place and pocketed $2,400. Recently, Iyer also finished seventh at Event #25: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack for $56,388. Female poker pro Muskan Sethi finished at the 676th place for $2,625. WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant cashed $3,610 for finishing 473rd at this event, while Nishant Sharma busted 142nd for $7,584. Neel Joshi and Siddharth Karia busted without making any money.

  8. Max Steinberg – 12,875,000 chips
  9. Alexios Zervos – 12,100,000 chips
  10. Ricardo Eyzaguirre – 12,100,000 chips
