WSOP 2020: Poker Vlogger Ryan Depaulo Wins Event #12!


The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online exclusively for Nevada and New Jersey players is fast approaching its end. Enthusiasts still stand a chance to grab a mesmerizing gold bracelet until 19 July. Today saw Event #12: $500 The BIG 500 No-Limit Hold’em coming to an end and poker vlogger Ryan “joeyisamush” Depaulo overcame a massive field to win the $159,563 top prize!

The 12th bracelet event drew 2,427 entries accumulating a mouthwatering $1.09 million prize pool. After the elimination of  “pill_ivey” in 372nd place, the money was reached the rest of the players including James “meatsweats” Carroll (221st – $982), Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu (205th – $1,092), Kevin “ImaLuckSac” MacPhee (144th – $1,310), Katie “kateline” Lindsay (57th – $2,402), Nick “duckflush” Pupillo (19th – $5,242), James “mig.com” Mackey (15th – $8,300) and so on all received payouts.

Depaulo who has over $208K in total live earnings began the final table as chip leader while “Giemeaction” was the short stack. Dominic “rgdoc” Ricciardi and Shannon “Aulophobia” Shorr went out in 8th and 7th place. Following the club were Terry “mrterry007” Fleischer, “Jessyboo”, Hayden “Luckbox89” Fortini and quickly after the elimination of Sean “FilthyDiaper” Ruane in 3rd place, heads-up began between Jack “EarlGrey” Salter and Ryan “joeyisamush” Depaulo. And from the comfort of the front seat of his car the latter seized a gold bracelet with QQ33.

The champion’s first live poker cash didn’t even come until January 2017. In 2019, at the WSOP he almost outlasted a 13K field for third place and a $208,000 prize in the $400 Colossus. The next tournament on the schedule is Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller Freezeout that will take place at 3 pm PDT (Pennsylvania) on Monday.
