We told you before, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) cannot do without a little drama. This is one of the most prestigious poker series around the world, be it online or live, the emotions attached to the festival remains the same. In Event #5, Mike Matusow, the loudmouth said enough to startle the fans watching his live stream. Well, WSOP events are always fun with a little bit of spice sprinkled here and there. And today was Bracelet event number 6 – 600 PLO8 Six-Max that belonged to the man who in 2017 took a monster chip lead and took down the heads-up battle in a single hand to secure his first gold bracelet, Nathan Gamble created history once again!

The $600 buy-in tournament clocked in 833 entries, accumulating a prize pool of $449,820. As the tournament progressed, “nyr9414” busted in 127th place leaving the remaining players in the money. Other notable players to finish in the money include Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu (59th – $1,304), Andrew “randylerch2” Kelsall (43rd – $1,754), Mike “The Mouth” Matusow (37th – $1,754), Ali “sasukeuchiha” Imsirovic (26th – $2,518), Max “MaxSparrow” Pescatori (10th – $4,813), Ryan “Flipflip” Lenaghan (7th – $10,750) and so on.

The final table casualty was Simon “bagelbites” Lam who has already cashed five of six events in the ongoing series. Quickly with the fall of “SSJTimmy” in 5th place, “hansdigalo” in 4th place and “rainman3817” in the 3rd place, heads-up play began between Nathan “surfbum” Gamble (8 million chips) and “danish01” (4 million chips). The 6th bracelet event concluded when the latter opened for 600k and Gamble 3-bet which saw “danish01” 4-bet jam.

Gamble first gold bracelet back in 2017 when he topped an 830 field to win the WSOP Event #46: $1,500 PLO8 for $223,339. After his win, the champion stated, “I used to play it growing up as like a 13 or 14-year-old kid. So, I have extreme confidence coming into this. I’ve played four Omaha tournaments this WSOP and cashed in three. So honestly, I felt better going into this than any other event.”
