The 2020 WSOP Online Event #19: $400 No-Limit Hold’em gathered a field of 1,757 entries creating a $916,200 prize pool. The top 371 players finished in the money including Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow (88th – $$1,374), Matt ‘Berkey11_S4Y’ Berkey (75th – $1,465), Ryan ‘bitc0in’ Riess (70th – $1,649) and so on.
The first casualty from the final table was Paul ‘Debt2Me’ Gunness. Next to fall was Michael ‘vapor098’ Federico, Hunter ‘Hunt_Dizzle’ Frey went out in the fifth place. Soon with the dismissal of Vincent ‘meatball44’ Ablahani in the third place, heads-up got underway between ‘610610’ and Kenny ‘Chopuh’ Huynh. Despite starting with at a disadvantage, Huynh climbed up to the top and railed out his opponent with trip sixes to grab his career first bracelet. The champion has over $212K in total live winnings including a career-best $80K for finishing 2nd in the 2020 Parx Big Stax XXXII in 2020 February

Event #34: $525 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed (GGPoker)
The second phase of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online is kicked off on GGPoker. However, a rough start to the day with bugs in #32 as well as #33 leading to the postponement of the events. However, that left the poker enthusiasts with Event #34: $525 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed and it was Shoma ‘pp_syon’ Ishikawa inking history by taking down the first-ever online bracelet event on GGPoker.

The 34th bracelet event drew a giant field of 2,213 entries accumulating a juicy prize pool of $1.10 million. The top 314 players secured $567 as min-cash. Tables were filled with plenty of notable players like GGPoker ambassador Fedor Holz, Mike McDonald, and streamers Michiel ‘Easterdamnz’ Van Elsacker and Scott ‘TTV_Pokerbrahs’ Kenyon.
Indian poker enthusiasts also joined the field with several of them cashing including ‘DrBravestone’, ‘backerehna’, ‘SammyP’, ‘rungood05’, ‘connecting’, ‘Limitless!’, ‘Neel’, ‘Resurge-‘ ‘Romesh’, ‘noobard99’, ‘yoloa12’, ‘Iwanashipit’, ‘viks82’, ‘M26GreenWood’, ‘OBellaCiao’, ‘HandsomeStud’, ‘pokerplayer’, ‘agromonkey99’ and so on.
With the elimination of Canada’s Gary ‘STARDOG13’ Johnson in third place, heads-up began between Diego ‘El Motron’ Ostrovich (6 million chips) and Shoma ‘pp_syon’ Ishikawa (48 million chips).
Ishikawa flopped two pairs on Ad 9d 4s. With 10h on the turn gave two outs to Ostrovich but river Qs was of no help. Thus, Ishikawa claimed the top prize of $117,650 including $35,225 in bounty. The champion is known for his All Japan Poker Championship NLHE title, the winner has over $34,238 in lifetime cashes.
