Shardul Parthasarathi made a splash with his astounding victory at the Super High Roller (SHR) event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2022. The high-value tournament of the series held at NagaWorld Integrated Resort, Phnom Penh, had a buy-in of $5,000. The Indian poker pro fought a competitive field and grabbed the top spot. Gaurav Sood shared an update on his Instagram Stories congratulating the newly crowned winner.

WPT Prime Cambodia 2022: Shardul Parthasarathi Ships SHR The Indian contingent at the WPT Prime Cambodia 2022 has been going strong with our pros clinching top titles. Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni shipped the $300 Deepstack No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) event for an impressive sum of $7,853. Next pro to grab headlines was Akshay Kapoor who won his first ever live title in the Single Day NLH event. Kapoor had a payday of $6,496. Spartan Poker Pro Zarvan Tumboli took down the PLO event, adding further to his WPT trophy tally. The Parsi added $7,000 to his bankroll for his win.

Including pros grinding at the WPT Prime Cambodia 2022 include names like Kanchan Sharma, Siddhanth Kripalani, Dhaval Mudgal, Rishab Malik, Raghav Bansal, Abhinav Iyer, Jasven Saigal, Ankit Jajodia, Ankit Wadhawan, India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) Jan 2021 winner Laksh Pal Singh, Gaurav Sood, Ashish Munot and Somashekhar KM.

The WPT Prime Cambodia 2022 event will come to an end on 22nd August with the conclusion of the Main Event (ME). It would be an utter delight to see an Indian poker pro nail the ME title. Well, only time will tell if this dream comes true. The Cambodia stop of WPT Prime 2022 has seen three Indian pros grab glory so far with their wins while other players had deep runs across tourneys. With the highly anticipated ME kick-starting today, the hopes are high for the ME trophy to come home.
