WPT Day 9: Siddhanth Kapoor Continues To Shine On The WPT Felts


The World Poker Tour (WPT) on the online felts of Adda52 witnessed some action and intense gameplay on Monday. There were two big tournaments that took place yesterday, along with one turbo tournament. Let’s have a look at the action of Day 9:

WPT Turbo 50 – ₹1,500 GTD

This tourney had a buy-in of ₹50 and the event lasted for 1 hour 43 minutes. This Turbo event attracted 49 entries who crushed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹2,254. Top 6 places received a min-cash of ₹111. ‘Virade’ shipped this tournament for ₹942. Mystery player ‘Eswar518’ and ‘alimunawar’ finished second and third for ₹478 and ₹332 respectively.

WPT Table for 6 – ₹7 Lakh 

This tournament witnessed some top pros slogging it out. Out of the 277 entries, top 30 places were paid a min-cash of ₹5,600. After five and a half hours of play, Gutshot’s June 2021 e-magazine cover star, Siddhanth Kapoor aka ‘bullzeyepower’ shipped the tourney for ₹1,28,566. In a two way deal between Kapoor and Chirag Bhardwaj aka ‘mahikk,’ the latter took home a pay cheque of ₹1,20,149 for his second spot finish.

Anonymous player ‘Mayur2172’ finished third for ₹1,17,735. Arjanveer Singh Chadha finished fourth for ₹59,500. Aditya Singh busted at the 14th spot for ₹8,400. Ashish Ahuja finished at the 16th spot for ₹7,350; Vishnu Khandelwal finished at the 22nd place for ₹6,300. Kritagya Sharma also busted at the 26th place for ₹5,600.

WPT Monday Feature 6 Max – ₹15 Lakh 

WPT Monday Feature was one of the high-value tournaments. The tournament witnessed 362 entries battling it out. A min-cash of ₹9,000 was paid to the top 38 places. Dhiraj Lakhotia aka ‘supernuts’ emerged victorious and took home a pay cheque of ₹3,75,000. Muthukumar Rajagopalan aka ‘hero1965’ was the runner-up who cashed ₹2,27,250. Arjanveer Singh Chadha finished third and pocketed ₹1,65,000. 

Vishnu Khadelwal also cashed ₹45,000 in this tournament. Sacheen Ramchandani finished 12th for ₹16,500. WPT Table for 6 winner, Siddhanth Kapoor cashed ₹12,000 at the 23rd spot. Ritwik Khanna busted at the 29th spot for ₹10,500, while Surbhit Grover finished 30th for ₹10,500. WPT Table for 6 runner-up Chirag Bhardwaj was also seen at this tourney. Bhardwaj left at the 32nd place for ₹9,000. Aditya Singh busted 34th for ₹9,000, while Gokul Raj departed at the 38th place for ₹9,000.
