What Is IOPC?

India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) is one event that poker players and pros in the country gets excited about. Players prep hard and look forward to grinding on the virtual felts to grab the coveted IOPC titles. What is IOPC?

IOPC is one of India’s premium and highly anticipated online poker series. The poker fest is on everyone’s to-do list. The series offers sky-high guarantees and leaderboard rewards that one can only dream of. For the unversed, IOPC was launched in the year 2016, with its first-ever edition held in July 2016. The event was launched with an aim to have a digital dimension of India Poker Championship (IPC), a massively successful live poker brand. From 2017 onwards, the tournament series was held twice a year. First, the event hits the virtual felts in January – February, and the next edition returns in June-July period. As of June 2022, the 13^th edition of this impeccable poker series is running all guns blazing.

Be it in terms of the prize pools, goodies, accolades, certificates, hampers, merchandise or even benefits like bonuses or deposit codes, IOPC offers only the best. Over the past years, the series also introduced a prestigious 18K diamond-studded gold crown for the player who ships the Main Event. In the past players have been awarded automobiles like Duster, Jeep Compass, and Harley Davidson. During the January 2022 edition, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) were also introduced for the winners.

With such massive fanfare and high energy always surrounding the IOPC felts, the event has carved a niche for itself in India taking regular sports head-on. The poker tournament series will only grow bigger and bolder in the coming years.
