Wednesday Round Up: Harsh Dembla Ships Destiny Title For 4.57 Lakh


Excited poker players once again took to the online felts for some power-packed Wednesday evening. The high-octane action resulted in players like Harsh Dembla, Sagar Raj, and others adding another title to their belt. For a full recap of yesterday’s tournament, read below.

Destiny – ₹21 Lakh GTD

The Destiny tournament is one of Spartan Poker’s marquee events. Yesterday, a total of 361 entries battled it out for the title spot. The buy-in of the event was ₹5,500. In the end, players who were in the top 30 places made the money. The min-cash stood at ₹14,700.

It was Harsh Dembla aka ‘aaja maal phuka’ who grabbed the winning seat after a deal was struck between him and player Kiran Kumar Reddy Ainala aka ‘Yuki2417.’ They both took home ₹4,57,291 and ₹4,45,708 in prize money, respectively.

Adda52’s Maverick event was a success with 505 total entries participating in the event. The buy-in for the tournament was ₹2,750. The top 55 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹5,250. In the winning seat was Sagar Raj aka ‘rajsagar32’ who shipped the tournament and took home a paycheck of ₹3,90,000. In the runner up position was mystery player ‘Padma37’ who walked away with ₹2,21,250.

The Pride – ₹10 Lakh GTD

The Pride on PokerBaazi saw a total of 307 entries battling it out on the online felts. The ₹3,850 buy-in tournament generated a prize pool of ₹10,75,000. The top 36 players finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹7,306. In the winning spot was mystery player ‘aryamancr7’ who added ₹2,37,000 to his bankroll. Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ took the runner up position and walked home with ₹1,67,000 in prize money.
