WATCH: When Gerard Pique Suffered A Bad Beat At EPT

Gerard Pique has been making headlines away from the football field. The athlete has been regularly seen around the poker tables after retiring from football in November 2022. Since hanging up his boots, the FC Barcelona defender has been working on his own football event, which has gained massive popularity.

However, nothing has stopped him from featuring on the poker tables during his downtime. Pique has a taste for poker and was seen enjoying his time at a Pokerstars EPT event. Recently, the footballer was seen playing poker where he suffered a bad beat. PokerStars has published a video of the same that shows how the Spanish national looked a little nervous while playing the particular hand.

The video starts off with a fellow player on the table moving all-in as the former Barcelona centre back decided to call the pre-flop action. Pique’s opponent showed his A ♠ 8 ♣ as the former footballer held A ♠ Q ♣. 

The board popped out 4 ♠ 8 ♠ 3 ♦ , which handed Pique’s opponent a pair. It soon switched to two pairs after 2h popped up on the turn and 2s came on the river. Gerard Pique Hendon Mob 

As per Hendon Mob, the former footballer has recorded total live earnings of $738,611. It is worth noting that Pique sits in the 40th place on the Spain All Time Money List while recording a best live cash of $392,515. After his retirement, the Spaniard is spending some of his free time on the poker tables. It remains interesting to see what else the former football star has to show on the poker table next time around.
