Thursday saw a lot of poker players flex their muscles and emerge victorious at the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) in June 2023. As a few pros were seen bustling with high energy on the virtual felts, some of them managed to claim top titles and bask in the glory. Let’s look at all the poker action that took place at the IOPC June 2023.
Mohsin Sheikh, aka ‘Gongo’, emerged victorious in this tourney and bagged a payday of ₹3,15,738. The second-place finisher was an unknown player with the username ‘Whatever’ who added a sum of ₹2,00,556 to finish in the runner-up position. This ₹2,750 buy-in event had a total of 648 entries which generated a prize pool of ₹16,20,000. The top 47 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹9,234.

A mystery player with the username ‘vysh4987’ managed to nail the top spot for a pay cheque of ₹7,39,768. Aditya Singh, aka ‘Ben K Rolle’ came as the second runner-up and walked away with ₹6,91,004. This tourney had a prize pool of ₹46,05,000 and 921 entries, with the ₹5,500 buy-in event seeing 87 players make ITM, with the min-cash sitting at ₹14,275.
Vishal Bajaj, aka ‘SimSlave’ won this tournament and added a sum of ₹20,24,837 to his bankroll, while an unknown player with the username ‘Streetwrapper’ was the second place finisher having a payday of ₹18,75,162. The total entries stood at 194, while the min-cash paid was ₹1,16,000, with 23 players cashing out in this event boasting a ₹55,000 buy-in.
This event recorded a prize pool of ₹22,26,000, where an unknown player with the username ‘Aam Jahe Munde’ emerged victorious and pocketed ₹3,75,637 while Ankit Wadhwan aka ‘d00mtr00per’ walked away with ₹3,24,662. There were 742 entries, with 71 players walking away with rewards, while the min-cash stood at ₹8,458 in the ₹3,300 buy-in event.
An unknown player with the username, ‘saaranshgarg’, emerged victorious in this tourney and bagged a payday of ₹2,12,750. The second-place finisher was Shreyansh Sharma aka ‘halifax7701’ who added a sum of ₹1,34,200 to finish in the runner-up position. This ₹1,650 buy-in event had a total of 669 entries. The top 63 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹4,785.
