Vijay Revankar Wins DPT July 2023 Mini Main Event!

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) July 2023 saw a lot of players capture the limelight with their performances at the event. We witnessed a lot of fanfare and high-intensity action throughout the series at the Deltin Royale casino in Goa.

While some players shined bright, we saw a few shine even brighter than others to emerge victorious at various events. One such player who managed to make it count when it mattered the most was Vijay Revankar, who tasted victory at the DPT July 2023 Mini Main Event! Revankar defeated a field of 198 entries to win the coveted title this year. 

Revankar defeated Goldi Babbar in the heads-up play to walk away with a hefty price of ₹10,81,084 alongside his first-ever DPT title. Goldi, who finished as the runner-up, had to settle for ₹7,20,720 payout, while Himanshu Chhikara finished third and pocketed ₹4,50,460.

DPT July 2023 Mini Main Event Final Hand

The final hand of this tourney saw Vijay holding 9h Ts while Goldi boasted a King-pair of Kd Kc. They were playing at Level 28 of the event with the blinds sitting at 75K/125K with a big blind ante of 125K.

The flop for this hand came out as 7h 8s 6d, handing  Revankar a straight with the turn card popping out as 4h with the river being Qs. Vijay, who was covering Goldi, shoved all-in and saw his rival make a snap call. Revankar, who flopped a straight took down the Mini Main Event title hook, line and sinker.

Apart from Vijay Revankar, Udit Baid and Vipul Mittal also had a night to remember! While Baid managed to ship the DPT July 2023 Turbo Closer title, Mittal won the Adda52 DPT ₹15 Lakh Freeroll.
