Valorant Conquerors Championship Qualifier Breaks All Viewership Records

The Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) is a tournament organized by NODWIN Gaming and supported by Riot Games. The event has broken all viewership records for PC sports in India. A new viewership record was made on Day 2 of qualifier #1 finals.

This stream was broadcasted across YouTube and Twitch channels. The final match played between Global Esports and Velocity Gaming which went live on 11 July. This stream reached 30K+ concurrent views for English, Tamil and Hindi languages. This figure broke all previous records of peak viewership i.e.16K which was achieved in early 2021 during the Skyesports Valorant League.

Akshat Rathee, MD & Co-Founder, Nodwin Gaming said, “This is why we absolutely love esports. We live for fan-idol moments, healthy rivalries, and the adrenaline rush of clashes. We knew that the viewership of the VCC qualifier #1 would be phenomenal but to have the viewership numbers break all previous records is incredible.”

The tournament was won by Velocity Gaming which has become the first team from South Asia to secure a spot in the playoffs of VCC. Global Esports will get a second chance to participate in the wild card qualifiers which will be hosted from 10-15 August.

The peak distribution statistics were drawn from Nodwin’s Hindi, Tamil, and English YouTube channels, Nodwin’s Hindi and English Facebook page, and the gaming firm’s Twitch Hindi and English handles. India qualifier #2 and other regional qualifiers are up next.
