The penultimate day of the Millionaire Series saw players battling it out for the top spots and impressive prize money. The advertised guarantees of all the events hosted yesterday were surpassed. The Day 1C flight to the Main Event was also hosted yesterday. Anonymous player ‘borntrouble’ is leading the pack and well-known player Kanishka Samant is a close second. Millionaire Series #21 – ₹5 Lakh GTD

The first tournament of the day was the Millionaire #21 which had 667 entries out of which 330 were unique players. The event had 84 re-entries and 253 rebuys. The top 55 players made it in the money in this ₹880 buy-in event. A min-cash of ₹2,614 was paid. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed by a thin margin and the final prize pool stood at ₹5,33,600. The tournament was shipped by Vaasu Gupta aka ‘skulleredge.’ This player had a payday of ₹1,03,518. Talking about his victory, Gupta added, “It was tough to be playing a tournament after months. But was just trying to play my cards right and leaving rest up to the poker gods :P.” The runner-up was Vijendra Kumar Sharma who took home ₹65,632 in prize money.

This event had 542 entries which was made up of 268 players, 134 re-entries and 140 re-buys. The ₹7,700 buy-in event’s original guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹37,94,000. The top 60 players finished in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹15,176. The tournament was ship ped by a mystery player called ‘NanuPOW.’ The winner grabbed a cool ₹10 Lakh in prize money. The runner-up was Nishant Kumar aka ‘RektKing’ who took a pay cheque of ₹6,07,040.

Millionaire Series #23 – ₹7 Lakh GTD

The last tournament of the day had a massive player field of 951 entries. There were 425 players, 184 re-entries and 342 rebuys. The advertised guarantee of the event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹7,60,800. The tournament was shipped by Ravinder Singh aka ‘DRUMLORD88’ who cashed ₹1,21,024 in prize money. The runner-up was Peter Nazareth aka ‘Sigmund’ who added ₹1,15,356 to his bankroll.
