USOP Da Nang 2023: Amit Kaushik Ships Turbo Event
The much awaited U Series of Poker (USOP) Da Nang 2023 kicked off amid high energy at the Crown Poker Club. Indian poker pro Amit Kaushik has shipped the Turbo event which was the fifth tournament on the schedule for 17th November.
Kaushik had a payday of VND 72 Million for his Turbo win. This event kick-started at 7 PM (local time). The buy-in for this Turbo event stood at VND 3,400,000 and the starting stack was 18,000. The levels in the Turbo tourney were 15 minutes long and the late registration was closed after the start of Level 9.

With Kaushik’s spectacular win, the Indian pro has made his presence felt at the series in a big way. Kaushik who is an IIT Roorkee graduate shared the happy news of his winning the Turbo trophy on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “15 hrs grind and we finally have a USOP 🏆on day 1 here in Da Nang. Onto the next 💪💪.”
Talking about Kaushik, this pro has been on a good run and shipping titles in live poker series in Asia. He took down the Bounty Hunter event at the World Poker Championship (WPC) Summer Series Hanoi Vietnam 2023. Kaushik also has a World Poker Tour (WPT) title to his credit.

This classic literature aficionado also shipped the Deepstack Hyper Turbo tournament at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Summer Festival Hanoi Vietnam in 2022. This victory was Kaushik’s second live title.
On home turf, this poker pro has a Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) title to his name. Not just Hold’em, Kaushik has a brilliant hold on Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) too. He was the runner-up in the PLO Bounty event at the DPT November 2022. The winner was Pratibh Saluja, but Kaushik put his PLO skills to good use and took the second spot after a tough heads-up.
