USOP Da Nang 2023: Amit Kaushik Finds A Bag In Mini ME Day 1A

The U Series of Poker (USOP) has kick-started with a blast as it’s the final stop of the year. Being played in Crown Poker Club in Vietnam, the ongoing USOP Da Nang 2023 is taking place from 17th to 27th November 2023.

One of the Indian players who’s been grinding at the series is Amit Kaushik. The Indian poker pro was playing in the Mini Main Event Day 1A flight. Kaushik has found a bag at the end of the qualifier. The Mini Main Event tourney boasts a staggering VN₫ 2 Billion (~$80K) guarantee. The IIT Roorkee graduate shared a post on his Instagram Stories, letting his followers know about it. With 376,000 chips in the stack, his progress looks quite promising. 

Kaushik has had a tournament to remember with the Indian poker pro also shipping the Turbo event. He pocketed a payday of VND 72 Million for his victory.

Kaushik has been in a purple patch of form with the pro shipping multiple live poker series recently. He won the Bounty Hunter event at the World Poker Championship (WPC) Summer Series Hanoi Vietnam 2023 while also bagging a World Poker Tour (WPT) title. 

He had also shipped the Deepstack Hyper Turbo tournament at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Summer Festival Hanoi Vietnam in 2022.

With an overall guaranteed prize pool of VND 50 Billion (~₹17 Crore / $2.03 Million), the highly anticipated USOP Da Nang 2023 has already seen an exhilarating line-up of tournaments taking place. It remains interesting to see if he can continue to shine bright and end the year on a high.

Other players like Avneesh Munjal, Meherzad Munsaf, Vishal Ojha and Deepankar Gupta were also seen grinding it out at USOP Da Nang 2023. We wish the Indian contingent all the best and hope to see then bring a lot of glory to the nation.
