Udit Baid Ships DPT July Turbo Closer (RE) While Vipul Mittal Wins ₹15 Lakh Freeroll

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) July 2023 ended on 24th July 2023 with a lot of fanfare and high intensity action throughout the series! Amid all the high energy at the Deltin Royale casino in Goa, we saw a lot of players shine brighter than others and emerge victorious at various events. 

One of the players who made it count at DPT July 2023 was Udit Baid after he managed to ship the DPT July 2023 Turbo Closer title. He locked horns against Harshit Kamawani heads up while Avinash Tauro finished in 3rd place.

 Following Tauro’s elimination, the two finalists were playing the Level 24 with blinds at 25K/50K, big blind ante 50K. Baid struck a heads-up deal with Kamawani where they ended up playing for ₹63,112 and the trophy. Baid overcame a field of 155 entries to take home ₹4.25 Lakh, while Kamawani also walked away with ₹4.25 Lakh.

DPT July Turbo Closer (RE) FINAL HAND

The final hand of Turbo Closer (RE) started off with Kamawani raising to 150K while Baid called to see the flop pop up as 9s 4d Kc. Following the flop, Baid checks while Kamawani bets 125K and results in Baid calling the hand to bring out the turn card. The turn card displayed Ts which was checked by both the players, as they awaited the river.

The river of Kd saw  Baid bet 500K as Kamawani shoved all-in! Baid did not shy away from calling and ending the hand! The latter, who boasted Qs Jc while Harshit shows Ks Jd! Baid, who hit a straight, ended up winning the Turbo title.

Apart from Baid, Vipul Mittal also had a night to remember! He was the last player standing at the Adda52 DPT ₹15 Lakh Freeroll. Mittal won his first ever DPT trophy alongside an impressive ₹3 Lakh for his performance at the tournament.
