Tuesday Roundup: Walia, Singh, Kapoor, Mahboobani seize titles!


Tuesday night across the virtual platforms of the country saw Spartan Poker, as always, leading the charge with Mega Stack INR 25L GTD. Two main attractions on PokerBaazi were Endeavour Mini and the Tuesday feature The Endeavour INR 15L GTD and PokerStars assured INR 10L GTD in prize pool. Mega Stack

Making a few deep runs lately, the first-ever Millionaire United champ and SSS The Beast HR titleholder Mahima Walia Das aka ‘mambojojo’ outlasted the field of Mega Stack INR 25 Lakhs GTD. Last night Spartan Poker’s Tuesday flagship tourney attracted a massive field of 929 entries. With a buy-in of INR 3,300 the guarantee was surpassed creating INR 27.87 Lakhs in prize pool and the top 79 made into the money. Das defeated ‘sheep1214’ in heads-up and at 4:19 am she banked a hefty first-place money.

The Race

Another event hosted by Spartan Poker last night at 9:30 pm was The Race INR 10 Lakhs GTD garnering a field of 719 entries. The event displayed a fixed buy-in of INR 1,650, ultimately creating a bigger prize pool of INR 10.78 Lakhs. A slice of the same was shared among the top 63 players receiving at least INR 4,691. Coming out on top was ‘gogobhai’ who captured the winner’s title while his opponent ‘DONKAKING’ settled in the runner-up position.

Endeavour Mini

A total of 221 runners registered after paying INR 3,300 in Endeavour Mini INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD on PokerBaazi last night. The top 27 finishers ended up earning a min-cash while the one to capture the largest chunk of the final prize pool of INR 1.76 Lakh was Vivek Singh aka ‘lazyguru’. His opponent Dinesh Singh aka ‘Daddu26’ ended up banking the second place payout of INR 1.24 Lakh.

The Endeavour

Ankit Kapoor rode past the field to capture The Endeavour INR 15 Lakhs GTD title on PokerBaazi outlasting a field of 566 entries last night. Each one chipped in INR 3,850 which led to the creation of INR 19.81 Lakhs in prize pool. The top 72 players ended up earning a min-cash of INR 6k. After beating ‘sharmak1393’ in heads-up, Kapoor went on to grab the winner’s prize money of INR 3.74 Lakhs while his opponent earned INR 2.62 Lakhs.

Sixth Sense

PokerStars headlining tournament Tuesday feature Sixth Sense INR 10 Lakhs GTD pulled out 341 entries for INR 3,300. Powering through the field was circuit grinder Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham’ who eliminated Kartik Ved aka ‘TheInternetKid’ in heads-up and received a paycheck of INR 1.79 Lakhs in prize money. Ved banked the second place payout of INR 1.27 Lakh.
