TIPS Season 3 returns to Rozvadov in February 2020

Most of you poker fanatics are well aware of The Indian Poker Series (TIPS) that kicked off in 2018 and the good news is that TIPS is back again for a 7-day long festival at the biggest casino in Europe. King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. They will play host to TIPS Season 3 between 3-10 February 2020!

Let’s go back into TIPS history, founded by Manish Goenka and Jaydeep Dawer. They realised that low/mid-stakes players don’t get opportunities to travel and play high stakes tournaments beyond the walls of the country. Keeping that in mind, the duo designed the idea and they’re back with TIPS 3, this time partnered with another prominent face in the poker industry, Kanishka Samant.

TIPS has also joined hands with PokerBaazi, where the players can register for online satellites. The daily satellites’ buy-ins are as low as INR 275 and INR 130+13 (R+A) running at 8:15 pm and 9:15 pm. The entry is extremely low keeping in mind various enthusiasts who want to make their first trip overseas. Each Monday, the Main Satellites will run at 9 pm, and the top two finalists will receive packages worth INR 1.25 Lakhs to Rozvadov!

TIPS Season 3 comes with a series guarantee of a massive INR 5 Crores. Gutshot caught up with Samant who further added, “The value is huge along with 3 WSOPE entries given to top 3 finishers in the Main Event worth €10,350 each (~INR 8.15 Lakhs).” The Main Event guarantee is €300,000 (~INR 2.36 Crore) for a buy-in as low as €225+25 (~INR 19,707).

The series will host 12 events in 2020! The list is long including the Welcome Event, TIPS High Roller, TIPS Deepstack, Bounty, Omaha, and Main Event. Apart from the regular events there are added surprises including TIPS Super High Roller, TIPS Big Friday, SPF High Roller, Sanchez Memorial, King Kong Event and OFC Ultimate.

With an incredible year coming to an end, 2020 looks good with some fabulous events in the first month including Baazi Poker Tour (2-14 January) and India Poker Championship (15-19 January) in Goa. TIPS Season 3 will surely take the limelight after that. You can now bag the next ticket to Europe, so get ready to play in TIPS Season3 in Rozvadov!
