Always making headlines Spartan Poker came with the biggest guarantee event Ultron INR 30L GTD while PokerBaazi hosted two exciting events. The star attraction on Spartan Poker was Ultron INR 30 Lakhs GTD which observed a fantastic field of 861 entries for a buy-in of INR 4,400. Smashing the guarantee to create a prize pool of INR 34.44 Lakhs and the top 79 players made the money. It was at 4:04 am, when ‘lol this guy’ captured the winner’s title along with pocketing the lion’s share of the prize pool after beating Vivek Rughani aka ‘Pokerbatman27’ in heads-up.
Another popular Thursday marquee on Spartan Poker was Big Bounty INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD. The action began at 9:30 pm last night pulling out 359 entries after each one paid INR 3,300. The prize pool was distributed among the top 31 finishers locking at least INR 6K as min-cash. The tournament concluded after the players settled for a heads-up deal which saw ‘GochujanG’ taking home the title and Rajat Mahajan aka ‘Pokerbatman27’ banking the second place payout.
PokerBaazi hosted Summit Mini INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD at 4 pm yesterday which garnered 221 entries for a buy-in of INR 3,300. Powering through the field was circuit grinder Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘duuurrrr’ who defeated ‘Cappuchino’ in heads-up and seized the winner’s prize money of INR 1.76 Lakhs while his opponent earned INR 1.24 Lakhs for settling in the runner-up position.
The headlining tourney on PokerBaazi was The Summit INR 15 Lakhs GTD that attracted 346 entries after each chipped in INR 8,250. Crushing the advertised guarantee to create INR 25.95 Lakhs in prize pool, the top 45 finishers earned quite well. Riding past the field was online reg Harsh Dembla aka ‘100crdream’ who knocked out Armaan Kochhar aka ‘Armaan007’ in heads-up and pocketed a hefty INR 5.45 Lakhs in cash prize. Kochhar banked the second place payout of INR 3.81 Lakhs.
The Thursday flagship tourney at PokerStars was Highroller – INSCOOP Edition INR 15 Lakhs GTD. The buy-in was INR 7,700 pulling out 244 entries and creating a prize pool of INR 17.08 Lakhs. Claiming the first-place prize money of INR 3.06 Lakhs was ‘FLIPflops’ who eliminated circuit reg Srihari Bang aka ‘bangbang1999’ in heads-up. Eventually, Bang also secured INR 2.26 Lakhs and settled in the second place.
