Spartan Poker’s Thursday ‘double feature’ included Big Bounty INR 6 Lakhs GTD running beside Ultron INR 20 Lakhs GTD. Spartan Poker’s Thursday popular, Ultron INR 20 Lakhs GTD attracted 520 entrants, each paid INR 4,400 buy-in that generated a final prize pool of INR 20.80 Lakhs and the top 47 finishers locked at least INR 11,856 min-cash. Coming out on top was circuit popular Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ who took down the tournament in level 52 with his pair of 88 over his opponent ‘Seiborg09’ high card Ace to boost his poker bankroll.
The top finishers receiving a share from the prize pool include Vivek Singh aka ‘KasolHieghts’ (3rd), Aniket W aka ‘Anteman’ (9th), Sandeep Varma aka ‘effuno’ (11th), Laksh Pal Singh aka ‘LuckyBhai$’ (19th), Sumit Sapra aka ‘Sands Myth’ (23rd), Neeraj Kumar aka ‘SelfClaimedPros’ (27th), Srihari Bang aka ‘bangabang99’ (38th), Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ (44th), Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ (46th)
Spartan Poker’s double feature took place at 9:30 pm and Big Bounty INR 6 Lakhs GTD garnered a total of 265 runners who paid INR 3,300 to enter. Capturing the winner’s title was circuit grinder Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymeR’ who trounced ‘sabhan07’ with his pair of Queens, adding yet another feather to his already illustrious poker cap.
Sanket Arora aka ‘GHOSTF@CE’ (5th), Chirag Sodha aka ‘chilling’ (6th), Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ (7th), Neeraj Kumar aka ‘SelfClaimedPros’ (9th), Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ (10th), Ultron champ (read above) Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ (11th), Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ (16th) and so on were among few notable players finished in the money.
PokerBaazi’s flagship tournament The Summit INR 15 Lakhs GTD logged in 264 entries for INR 8,250 buy-in which was enough to ride past the guarantee and create INR 19.80 Lakhs in prize pool. Kartik Ved aka ‘TheInternetKid’ clinched to winner’s title along with hefty INR 4.37 Lakhs. Ved battled out Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘duuurrrr’ in heads-up who also finished 4th in PokerStars’ Highroller (read below). While Parthasarathi settled for the second-place payout of INR 3.06 Lakhs.

Catching public attention was yet another tournament on PokerBaazi last night. Thursday MonsterStack INR 5 Lakhs GTD had a fixed buy-in of INR 2,750 fetching 246 entrants and the top 27 places ended up earning a share from the prize pool of INR 6.15 Lakhs. It was 2019 APT Vietnam Main Event winner Akshay Nasa aka ‘sherlock52’ who seized the first-place money for INR 1.44 Lakh after defeating ‘FishStars’ in heads-up who took home INR 1.01 Lakhs.
Rafiq Khan aka ‘Mrkhan’ (4th), Shagun Jain aka ‘sogani22’ (6th), Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ (8th), Siddharth Pandey aka ‘Siddonuts’ (22nd) earned a paycheck.
At 8 pm, Adda52 hosted Thursday marquee, Godfather INR 25 Lakhs GTD pulled out 521 entries after each chipped in INR 5,500 out of which the top 55 finishers ended up earning a share from the final prize pool. After hours of battling and eliminations, it was Anish Patra aka ‘anishpatra’ who railed out ‘Volkar’ in heads-up for a handsome INR 6.25 Lakhs in prize money.
The top 55 places received a paycheck including Aditya Agarwal aka ‘iamherenow’ (4th), Sumit Sapra aka ‘Hammer_Head’ (11th), Chirag Bhardwaj aka ‘mahikk’ (18th), Akash Malik aka ‘profishnal’ (20th), Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ (23rd), Aditya Sushant aka ‘A_Sushant’ (44th), Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ (45th) and so on.
PokerStars’ headlining tournament Highroller INR 12 Lakhs GTD attracted a pretty decent field of 184 entries after each paid INR 7,700 buy-in. The tournament generated a slightly bigger prize pool of INR 12.88 Lakhs which was well-received by the top 31 places securing a share from the same. An anonymous player ‘gaur83’ beat Aditya Agarwal aka ‘Artooriouss’ in heads-up to bag INR 2.56 Lakhs in prize money. However, the opponent settled in the runner-up position for INR 1.90 Lakhs.

9stacks (SignUp with code ‘GUTSHOT’) hosted Thunder INR 5 Lakhs GTD last night at 8 pm pulling out 109 entrants after paying a fixed buy-in of INR 4,400. ‘donkeyking’ captured the first-place prize money of INR 1.41 Lakhs only after battling out ‘AKfishing’ in heads-up who ended in the second place for INR 97,500.
Other notable players ending in the money include Amresh Kumar aka ‘Termi’ (3rd), Akash Shekhar aka ‘ K9_A’ (4th), Raj Kumar Gahlot aka ‘Fireman’ (7th), KC Bhanu Prasad aka ‘Putnanja’ (11th) and others.
