Poker platforms like Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, Adda52, and PokerStars were flocked with poker players last night. The action continued till the early morning hours and many online regs clinched top titles. Here’s the full report of the action.
Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday event kicked off with 444 total entries joining the fold. The ₹5,500 buy-in tournament had its advertised guarantee crushed with the final prize pool being ₹22,20,000. The top 39 places were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹15,318.
After a heated heads-up battle, Avneesh Munjal aka ‘IamAM’ and Harshad Barve aka ‘Omglukbox’ struck a deal. They took home ₹3,36,074 and ₹3,29,300 respectively.
The Big Deal event on Spartan Poker had a total of 149 entries and had a buy-in of ₹22,000. In the end the top 17 places were paid with the min-cash being an impressive ₹47,100. Harshit Sanghi aka ‘PokerinOlympics’ was the winner of the event and took home ₹7,54,800 in prize money. Nikhil Jain aka ‘TheMeisTeR’ was the runner up for ₹5,10,000.
Adda52’s Godfather tournament welcomed 457 total entries into its field and the buy-in for the event was ₹5,500. Players who reached the top 49 places paid and the min-cash stood at ₹13,750. It was online reg Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator’ who added ₹6,12,500 in prize money to his bankroll. Player ‘debapriya_12345’ was the runner-up and walked away with ₹3,62,500 in winnings.
The Summit in PokerBaazi was a hit with players and even crushed the original prize pool of ₹15 Lakh. The final prize pool was ₹17,63,000 and the buy-in was ₹8,250. The top 27 places took home a piece of the prize pool. The min-cash was ₹14,630.
IOPC January 2021 Main Event winner Laksh Pal Singh aka ‘boomtlt23’ shipped the prize pool and pocketed ₹4,15,000 as a prize pool. The runner up was ‘vishnu8856’ and took home ₹2,91,000 in prize money.
PokerStars’ Highroller event had a total of 158 entries and the buy-in was ₹7,700. From these the players who were in the top 20 made the money. The min-cash was ₹16,769. It was mystery player ‘CougarHunter69’ who shipped the tournament and received a prize money of ₹2,41,927. The runner up was ‘dp8218’ who walked away with ₹1,87,187 in prize money.
