Thanh Crowns Shih As Bubble Boy!

Dinh Tien Thanh opened with 125,000; King Lun Shih shoved for a bit over 500,000. Thanh then took a few seconds and called. This move put Shih at risk of bubbling SHR event. Shih was playing A♥ J♥, Thanh had A♦ Q♣. Shih was behind in a risky spot and the entire table rooted for a Queen. The flop of A♣ Q♦ 3♣ gave  Thanh hits the top two pairs (AA, QQ). Shih needed a runner-runner to survive the game. Sadly the turn of K♣ gave Thanh a flush draw while Shih’s hopes for a straight were also up. The river of Tc handed a flush to Thanh and despite rivering a straight Shih had bubbled the event with no money to show for his efforts.
