Talwar Slays Kripalani’s Tournament Life

With so many bust outs happening one after the other, we almost can’t keep up! However, we are keeping up and we already have the next bust out! The action on Tabel 4 saw Siddhanth Kripalani bet 25,000 preflop which was called by Raj Talwar and two other players. The flop opened J 6 9 ♠ and delivered J-pair to Kripalani who had hole cards J ♦ T who bet 40,000. Talwar called as he had flopped a 9-pair while the rest folded. However, the turn 9 changed the tide to favour Talwar who now had a set, improving his hand. Kripalani believing his cards would hold up, went all-in on the turn and was called by Talwar. The river 3 ♣ did not make a difference and Talwar chipped up and eliminated Kripalani from the tournament. We were really looking for one more deep run from Kripalani.
