The weekend wrapped up amid high energy on the virtual felts as players couldn’t get enough of the high-value tournaments. The online felts were mostly dominated by some well-known poker players in the industry. There is a lot of action to cover, so let’s get down to it.
Online felts of Spartan Poker was buzzing with activity as poker players swarmed the platform for a taste of the fast-paced action. The Sunday Superstack tournament with a buy-in of ₹11,000 had 304 entries. The top 31 places were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹30,800. The winner of the event was mystery player ‘Dr Putin’ who added prize money of ₹7,40,250 to his bankroll. The runner-up was Loveleen Singh aka ‘badreg28’ who walked away with ₹4,98,400 in prize money.
The Adda52 Big Game had a buy-in of ₹27,500 and an advertised guarantee of ₹50 Lakh which attracted 193 entries. In the end, players who made it to the top 19 places were paid. Min-cash stood at ₹50,000 which was impressive.
Online reg Mithun Mahesh aka ‘Themiths’ grabbed the title and won the lion’s share of the prize pool. Mahesh laughed his way to the bank with ₹11,40,334 . The runner-up was Ashish Ahuja aka ‘rocky3705’ who took home ₹10,99,666 in prize money.
Another tournament on Adda52 that grabbed players’ attention was the Sunday Showdown. The event had a buy-in of ₹2,500 and 441 entries. The top 44 places were paid a piece of the prize pool. The min-cash was ₹7,549. Vinay B aka ‘ContemporisT’ who pocketed ₹1,70,038 in prize money. In second place was Jasven Saigal aka ‘bajateraho’ who took home ₹1,62,130.
PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack was a hit among players. A total of 392 entries battled it out on the virtual felts. Out of these, the top 45 players finished in the money. The min-cash paid stood at ₹11,200. Poker pro Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ was the ultimate winner who took home ₹4,20,000 in prize money. The runner-up was Vinay B aka ‘Vinstill’ who pocketed ₹2,94,000 in prize money. Vinay B also clinched Adda52’s Sunday Showdown for ₹1.7 Lakh.
The Sunday Special on PokerStars had a progressive knockout format, which brought in plenty of excited players. 297 entries played in the ₹5,500 buy-in tournament. Those who made it to the top 34 places finished in the money. The min-cash of the tournament was ₹8,851. It was Atishay Samuel aka ‘momstacos’ who shipped the title and added ₹3,06,877 to his bankroll. While anonymous player ‘awanabsa’ was the runner-up with ₹2,10,236 in prize money.
This event was not er tournament that players did not want to miss. The ₹11,000 buy-in event has a total of 119 entries. This highroller event awarded only the top 15 places. The min-cash stood at ₹32,004. Poker pro Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘merci999’ grabbed the title after a deal with Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham.’ Both added a prize money worth ₹2,90,910 to their bankrolls, respectively.
