We are just one day away from ending the entire 78 events long the Spartan Super Series (SSS). Spartan Poker is hosting its monthly series which assures an incredible 11+ Crores, spread across 11 days comprising of Millionaires and High Roller tourneys. Speaking of Millionaire which is supposed to kick off tomorrow at 12 pm with 2 starting flights and the ultimate battle taking place at 9:30 pm. On Saturday, a total of 7 tournaments were held and here are the winners of SSS Day 10…
The first tournament was the lowest buy-in which garnered 423 entries after each paid 550. Collecting a prize pool of INR 2.11 Lakhs which was ultimately distributed to the top 31 players taking home a slice from the same. After hours of intense battle, topping the list to claim the first title was ‘pokz’ when the players settled for a 3-way deal which saw his opponent ‘Dhanraj Seth’ in the runner-position.
At 2 pm the buy-in increased to become INR 2,200 fetching a total of 387 runners. This number led to the creation of INR 7.74 Lakhs which was well shared among the top 31 places earning a min-cash. The tournament ended after the players settled for a deal which gradually saw the title winner Siddharth Pandey aka ‘champ-ak’ taking home the winner’s prize money.
Online reg ‘illuminati.AM’ rode past the field to triumph the Saturday Hi-Fi. The buy-in once again decreased to become INR 1,100 which drew a total of 494 entries collecting a final prize pool which was shared among the top 39 places. Negi defeated ‘BuddyLove’ in heads-up with his three of a kind and K kicker to champion the tournament.
The buy-in remained INR 1,100 in the fourth tournament of the day. A total of 365 runners joined the field to hunt for the winner’s title. Claiming the first-place cash prize was Annkur Agarwal aka ‘CYCLONE 1121’ who knocked out his opponent ‘ghatak’ in heads-up. The latter eventually ended up banking the second-place cash prize.
What an interesting tournament it was! The first-ever Millionaire United champion Mahima Walia Das aka ‘mambojojo’ claimed the winner’s title after striking a heads-up deal with sole Indian woman to own a WSOP bracelet Nikita Luther aka ‘Nikita Luther’. The entire event pulled out a pretty good field and the buy-in was as high as INR 27,500 which collected INR 67.75 Lakhs in prize pool, crushing the advertised guarantee. Both players took home a 7-digit score!
A total of 332 hopefuls entered the tournament for a buy-in of INR 4,400. The advertised guarantee was surpassed to create INR 13.28 Lakhs in prize pool which was shared among the top 23 players. Capturing the cash prize was ‘d@enareys’ who defeated Bhanu Prakash aka ‘spectre’ in heads-up with his Flush over his opponent’s TT and clinched to the title!
The final tournament of SSS Day 10 attracted 529 entries. The event had a fixed buy-in of INR 2,200 that led to the creation of INR 10.58 Lakhs in prize pool. An anonymous player ‘whateverhaha’ banked the first-place prize money after the competition came to an end in level 47 with players settling for a deal. This eventually saw ‘Speedpost09’ in the second position.
