SSS Day 6: Sourabh, Bagaria, Kumar, Mehta grab titles!


Only a few more days before Spartan Poker‘s Spartan Super Series (SSS) comes to a standstill! This May edition promises INR 10+ Crore GTD spreading across 71 tournaments out of which 42 events have already concluded. Yesterday crowned 7 winners with Dhinesh Kumar grabbing the biggest prize money. So, keep reading to find out the titleholders of SSS Day 6

SSS #36 INR 2L GTD

The first tournament of the day kicked off at 12 pm and the buy-in was as low as INR 550. This attracted a total number of 445 entries out of which the top 31 managed to finish in the money. In level 40 of the event, the players struck a 4-way deal which eventually saw ‘waghoneblood$’ grabbing back-to-back titles after already winning on SSS Day 5.

SSS #37 Monster Stack INR 3.50L GTD

A total of 434 runners registered to the field after paying a buy-in amount of INR 3.47 Lakh. Once again, the tournament guarantee surpassed to create INR 3.47 Lakh in prize pool and the top 39 places ended up earning a share from the same. Ultimately, Sourabh playing under the username ‘ravenclaw410’ came out on top and clinched to the first-place prize money while his opponent ‘Zaalimp’ ended up in the runner-up position.

SSS #38 Afternoon Showdown INR 5.50L GTD

With a buy-in of INR 2,200 the third event of the day attracted 288 entries. The top 27 places earned a min-cash, a portion of INR 5.76 Lakh in prize pool. After intense grinding session, the tournament ended in level 40 when the players struck a 3-way deal which saw ‘Nedstark_25’ securing the winner’s title and ‘vivid_sachin’ ending in the runner-up position.

SSS #39 INR 3L GTD

At 6 pm yesterday, the buy-in decreased to become INR 1,100 pulling out 292 entries. The final prize pool was well-received by the top 23 players who earned at least INR 3K as min-cash. The event concluded with a 5-way deal which saw ‘kdm007’ emerging as the champion and ‘notoriouskonvict1’ settling in the second position.

SSS #40 Destiny INR 45 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s popular Wednesday flagship event was the biggest attraction last night. With a buy-in of INR 5,500 a total of 934 entries took their seat to hunt for the prize money, bringing the prize pool to INR 46.70 Lakh. At 4:45 am, booking his seat in Destiny SNG Finale was Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘kendralust’ who added a 7-digit score to his poker bankroll after knocking out Gaurav Sood aka ‘mozzie17’ in heads-up.

SSS #41 Mega Freeze INR 6 Lakh GTD

The event began at 9:30 pm last night displaying a buy-in of INR 3,300. Riding past a field of 213 entries to grab the first-place prize money was online grinder Dhaval Bagaria aka ‘Pokerpro5553’ who outlasted ‘pokergambit’ in heads-up. Bagaria captured the largest share from INR 6.39 Lakh prize pool and the top 31 players also finished in the money.

SSS #42 Destiny Jr INR 5L GTD

SSS Day 6 concluded with another major attraction on Spartan Poker which saw online reg Anmol Mehta aka ‘Anzzzzz’ powering through the field of 523 entries and eliminating Annkur Agarwal aka ‘CYCLONE 1121’ in heads-up with his AAJJ over his opponent’s AA99. Mehta took home the largest share of INR 7.84 Lakh prize pool and Agarwal settled in the runner-up position.
