SPiCE Series Adds Bangladesh To Their 2023 Calendar!

With recent promising developments in the sports betting and gaming industry, and increased emerging trends to unlock industry growth, the time has arrived to establish your brand in South Asia. The sports betting boom in Bangladesh set a new revenue high last year, making it the ideal time to enter the market. By 2023, there are now upwards of 50 online gaming companies operating in the country, and there are more than four million punters in the region.

The increasing popularity of sports such as cricket, football, and kabaddi can be attributed to the growth of online sports betting in Bangladesh. Combined with the Bangladeshi government making moves to regulate and legalise sports betting and the increasing availability of online betting platforms, online sports betting in this region is expected to expand at a rapid rate in the near future.

Bangladesh is a particularly brand-new, exciting addition to the SPiCE (Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference and Exhibition) series. The well-established SPiCE India edition will be the 4th annual event this year, set to take place from 1st – 3rd March 2023. The second SPiCE Series event will be the inaugural SPiCE Sri Lanka in July, followed by the 2nd annual edition of SPiCE Philippines to take place in September. With all regions of Asia covered, the SPiCE series is definitely the perfect platform for the Asian iGaming industry to connect.
