Spartan Poker Launches India’s First Gaming NFT

Online poker giant, Spartan Poker has announced India’s first-ever gaming NFTs (Non-fungible Token). The newly launched NFTs will be introduced in the ongoing India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2022. NFTs are a rage and it doesn’t come as a surprise that this online gaming brand caught on with the trend. 

Shedding more light on the matter is Spartan Poker’s Group CEO, Amin Rozani who said, “Spartan Group has always gone the extra mile for its players. Winners at IOPC in the past have been rewarded with 18K gold trophies, gold badges, and once even a diamond-studded crown.

Authenticity of NFTs

NFTs are present on a blockchain. This blockchain represents a distributed public ledger which keeps a track of transactions. With respect to NFTs, the transactional data saves the location, nature, and ownership of these digital assets. This acts as the proof of authenticity for the NFTs.

Still Confused?

Players can view all the assets minted on a blockchain by doing the following. 

• Check the option called ‘view proof of authenticity.’ With this, players can see the digital asset on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) or on a blockchain. The NFTs will have a unique ID. 
• When a player is awarded with the digital asset, the details of the transaction will be generated on the blockchain and a unique ID will be made which can be viewed on the ‘view proof of authenticity’ section.

Spartan Poker will also send the details of the NFT along with its unique ID to the winners. This information will be accessible in the login page of the player/user under the ‘My Collection Tab.’ Just click on NFT, then hit the ‘view proof of authenticity’ tab.
