Shuchi Chamaria Bags Her First Live Title At WPT Prime Vietnam 2023 Big Bounty

India’s female pro Shuchi Chamaria grabbed her first live at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime India 2023. The Bengaluru-based pro nailed the Big Bounty event at the ongoing series, and pocketed a sum of VND 138,600,000 (₹4,87,761) for her efforts.

The Big Bounty event was a VND 11,000,000 (~US$ 470) buy-in event, which generated a final prize pool of VND 855,400,000 (~US$ 36,440). The prize pool was shared by the top 23 finishers from among the 182 entries (136 unique, 46 re-entries) at this event.

When the event was down to the three-handed, the final three players, Chamaria, Tuan Anh Tran and Hung Viet Le agreed to flip for the title. Chamaria triumphed after three flips, refusing Tran his second series title in the process. Tran took the second spot for VND 169,100,000, while Le took home VND 149,300,000.
