Shengfa Huang, a Chinese poker player, has achieved the incredible feat of winning his first live title at the prestigious Red Dragon Championship in Jeju. This is a dual achievement for him – not only is this his first live title, but the title is that of a Main Event win. He took home the life-altering amount of KRW 2 Billion ($1.38 Million).
The Red Dragon Championship at RDPT Jeju 2025 drew an impressive 997 entries over four starting flights, shattering the tournament’s guarantee and generating a prize pool of KRW 2,175,953,000 (approximately $1.58 Million). The substantial prize money was distributed among the top 150 finishers.

Of those who made the money, 37 players advanced to Day 3, all competing for significant pay jumps. After five intense hours of play, the field narrowed to the final nine, who secured their seats at the final table. These nine players returned on Day 4 with their sights set on a podium finish and a six-figure payout.
With this tremendous win, Shengfa Huang becomes one of the biggest names in the current poker scene, and fans are bound to await his next step: his appearance at a poker tournament. At the final table, Huang was third in chip counts. He was successful in railing two players, Sishu Peng and Jiapeng Yu and finally, the chip leader, Junjie He.
