Can Shaun Deeb take a chill? Doesn’t look like it. Why are we saying that? Well, Deeb in his latest or should we say classic style has called another poker player ‘scumbag’ in a tweet. Who’s that player? That player is none other than Sean Perry. This Las Vegas resident posted a throwback video on his Twitter handle from 2021 and that led to a whole new conversation in the comment section (more like trolling section).
The six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, took a solid dig at Perry by calling him scumbag thanks to a list which shows PokerGo Tour concluding the 2021 season with Perry in the 3rd spot (first position went to known poker cheater Ali Imsirovic). The year 2021 also saw Perry being named as the second runner-up in Card Player’s Player of the Year race.
That was cute your mom made that for you at least one parent putting in some effort. Also should brag about being the second biggest scumbag on the list too https://t.co/unlbvEohCQ

The video showed Perry’s accomplishment in poker at the age of 24. But it looks like Deeb wasn’t having any of it. What made the New York-born poker pro so pissed that he ended up calling Perry scumbag? We don’t know for sure, but then there is no smoke without fire. Perry’s tweet from 15 hours ago read, “Throwback to being the #3 ranked poker player in the world at age of 24 Now I pursue sports full time where I’m making 8 figures a year.”
Deeb fired back with a tweet saying, “That was cute your mom made that for you at least one parent putting in some effort. Also should brag about being the second biggest scumbag on the list too.”
Some folks in the comment section did highlight that celebrating the third place finish was funny to them. Another Twitter user, stated that he never heard of Perry being number 3 in any poker rankings. Another Twitter user stated how Perry is enjoying his 14th minute of fame on the micro-blogging site.
Scumbag or not, do you think Deeb was right in calling out Perry over a throwback video? Let us know in the comment section below.
