Santhosh Suvarna Ships Triton Poker SHRS Cyprus $25K NLH GG Super Millions Event

Indian player Santhosh Suvarna has nailed his first-ever Triton Poker title by taking down Event 1 Triton Poker SHRS Cyprus $25K NLH GG Super Millions Event.

He was leading the three-way play with a massive chip lead. The final three players eventually made a three-way deal and agreed that since Suvarna was the chip leader, he would take home the title and the trophy. The rest of two players, Nicolas Chouity and Selahaddin Bedir, finished second and third for $636,000 and $636,000, respectively. However, the three players played briefly. However, a three-way all-in closed the game. Suvarna got the nut flush and scooped the chips.

Suvarna outlasted a field of 158 entries to claim his first-ever live title. The high stakes player, who was earlier seen at the Triton Poker Vietnam Series in March, recorded his third final table this year. Prior to this, he finished fourth at Event #7: 75K NLH 8-Handed event of Triton Poker Vietnam Series 2023 in March. Post that, he finished seventh on the FT of EPT Monte Carlo 2023 €100,000 Super High Roller. However, he bubbled the event. 

Along with the title and the money, Suvarna also earned 1,008 Card Player Player of the Year points. Being his second Triton Poker FT of the year, the player now has a total of 1,416 total points, which brings him among the top 90 players in the top 90 in the 2023 POY race standings by Global Poker.
