Sam Grafton Wins 2022 EPT Prague Event #1

Sam Grafton shipped the first event of the 2022 European Poker Tour. Day 2 of the €10,200 No-Limit Hold’em Bounty High Roller event had 57 entries in total, out of which 25 survivors resumed the game. While Grafton was involved in his usual banter on the table, he had his eyes on the prize as he nailed the event and walked away with €80,360. 

After a short heads-up duel, this player defeated online poker legend Niklas Astedt. He was also responsible for knocking out four players and the last three eliminations from the game. The top eight players made it in the money at this event which took place at King’s Casino, Prague. The final table (FT) had names like Niklas Astedt, Daewoong Song, Teun Murder, Alex Kulev, Gab Yong King, Alexandros Theologis, and Zhong Chen. The bubble boy in the event was a well-known grinder Andras Nemeth who came up short in a flip against Daewoong Song and departed with no prize money.

Some other notable players who left empty-handed were Stephen Chidwick, Adrian Mateos, Timothy Adams, Patrick Leonard, and Thomas Muehloecker. Brazilian online poker players Rodrigo Seiji and Pedro Garagnani were also grinding in this event, but they could not make it in the money.
