PokerStars APPT Cambodia 2023 Announced

PokerStars LIVE is back with another edition of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cambodia 2023, which will be held in Cambodia. The series is all set to make a splash in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This edition will mark the first APPT series of the year.

APPT Cambodia 2023 Dates:

APPT Cambodia 2023 will take place between 5th May to 15th May 2023. The 10-day-long series will have a guarantee of $550,000, along with the classic PokerStars Shard trophies and Spadies that would be awarded to the winners. 

For this upcoming edition, PokerStars has partnered with Connaissance Management to host the series at NagaWorld Integrated Resort Complex.

APPT Cambodia 2023 Highlight Events:

The entire lineup of the event is yet to be released, however, these are some of the highlight events. 

APPT Cambodia Main Event 

The APPT Cambodia 2023 Main Event has a guarantee of $400,000. Running between 12th May to 15th May 2023, the Maine Event will have a buy-in of $1,500. The inaugural APPT Cambodia 2022 event held last year gathered over $1.3 Million in prize pool as the Main Event had nearly half a million dollars as the prize pool. Canadian player Alexander Puchalski became the maiden APPT Cambodia Main Event champion for $96K.

APPT NagaWorld Kickoff 

APPT NagaWorld Kickoff will offer $50,000 guaranteed for a buy-in of $350. The event will kick-start the series on 5th May and will run until 7th May 2023. 

APPT National 

APPT Nationals runs between 7th May to 10th May 2023. With a buy-in of $800, this event will have a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000.

APPT High Roller

All the high-stakes players can play the APPT High Roller for a buy-in of $5,000 on the 14th and 15th May 2023.

APPT Cambodia Super High Roller 

One of the most anticipated and expensive events, APPT Cambodia Super High Roller, will have a buy-in of $10,000, and will run between 10th and 11th May 2023. 

But that’s not all. Players can now start qualifying for APPT Cambodia 2023 events by playing on PokerStars online poker platform. Additionally, interested players can also start booking their accommodation at NagaWorld Phnom Penh by visiting APPT’s official website.
