PokerBaazi launches INR 4.5+ crore PPL Autumn 2018

The PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) is one of the biggest online poker series in India, competing with the likes of the Spartan Super Series (SSS) and others. They host this series a couple of times each year and yesterday, the company took to social media to announce the launch of PPL Autumn 2018.

Scheduled between 15-21 October 2018, the Autumn edition of this prestigious poker series is set to give away over INR 4.5 crore in guaranteed prizes over the course of just one week on PokerBaazi. So, poker pros and recreational players, get ready to grind long and win big this October.

This will be their most-awaited edition of the PPL series, as their signature MoneyMaker tournament with an INR 1 crore GTD prize pool will serve as the Main Event of the series. The PPL is back with a bang, with 34 tournaments scheduled in this week, with almost every event having a guarantee of at least INR 5 lakh.

Apart from the MoneyMaker which will have a buy-in of INR 11,000 and an INR 1 crore GTD, there will be an INR 25 lakh GTD featured tournament daily. Another highlight tournament in the series will be the INR 50 Lakh GTD High Roller, scheduled for 18th October with a buy-in of INR 27,500. Get the full schedule here.

Apart from so much being given away in tournament prizes, there are additional incentives to play well throughout the series and those are the leaderboard competitions. One is the PPL Autumn Leaderboard where INR 10 lakh is up for grabs, including INR 3 lakh to the topper, while there is also something called the PPL 2018 Yearly Leaderboard.

The yearly leaderboard will feature an INR 25 lakh prize pool including the top prize of a brand-new Harley Davidson to the leaderboard topper – the best player across all four editions of the PPL in 2018. Two editions are already over and if you remember right, Manoj Pentakota won the PPL Main Event in February for INR 28+ lakh while Rubin Labroo won the PPL main Event in June for INR 35+ lakh.
