WATCH: PokerBaazi Launches First 2 Episodes of The Circuit Season 1

All poker enthusiasts, here’s something you don’t want to miss. If you follow some of the top Indian poker players on Instagram, you’d know that there was something cooking between 12 top Indian poker professionals, and the country’s leading poker application, PokerBaazi.

We’re talking about The Circuit Season 1 which sees players batting it out in a unique tournament, where they will play multiple formats of the game, which will test each of their skill levels. Hosted by ‘adiwankenobi’ Aditya Wadhwani and his fellow commentator, Vidur Singhal, the first two episodes dropped on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024.

Shot in Hanoi, Vietnam, there’s plenty to play for in this tournament, including the crowning of the inaugural Circuit champion, a stunning new trophy, and of course, hefty prize money. There’s as much as 15 Lakh waiting to be won for the 1st place prize, and the player mix includes some cash specialists, MTT crushers, Indian poker veterans in India, and much more. The Circuit Season 1 Episode 1 | Shuffle Up and Deal

The excitement of Day 1 kicked off with a short multi-table tournament in a unique format, where it’s not just about gaining points but also avoiding negative points. The top 6 gain points but the bottom 6 also get negative points, making a considerable change to the dynamics with each bust-out.

Here, there is a featured table along with an outer table and you can watch all the banter and feedback from players, during the game itself. Strategies were put to the test and nerves ran high in Episode 1, which you can check out below:

Episodes are out every Wednesday on the PokerBaazi YouTube channel, where you can tune in to know exactly what happens right through The Circuit Season 1. Spoiler Alert: We saw the PokerBaazi CEO and ambassador, Navkiran and Goindi, being the first to bust, while Labroo exited in 10th place to set the first ever Circuit final table.

The Circuit Season 1 Episode 2 | Alligator Blood

One of the old-timers in the Indian poker industry, Jasven Saigal took the chip lead at the start of the final table, where most players were trying to avoid the negative marking for the bottom six positions.
