Thursday Round Up: Kunal Patni Ships PokerBaazi’s The Summit Tournament

Thursday was indeed a day to remember. We are all heading towards an action-packed weekend and Thursday was quite an eventful day. Adda52, Spartan Poker, and PokerBaazi conducted several tournaments, and here’s a lowdown of the top GTD events.

Godfather – 25 Lakh GTD

In the past, this Adda52 tournament was shipped by poker pro Gokul Raj. This time though, ‘factory123’ shipped the tournament and took home INR 5,08,700 in prize money. This high value tournament had 514 entries in total and the top 55 places were paid a min-cash of INR 11,565.

Trending Thursday – 16 Lakh GTD

Previously, Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday was shipped by Akshay Kadam. Yesterday’s tournament was won by ‘Fishy27.’ This exciting tourney had 526 entries and the top 47 players were paid a min-cash of INR 10,493. The advertised guarantee of this tournament was crushed and a bigger prize pool of INR 18,41,000 was formed. This time, ‘Fishy27’ shipped the Trending Thursday tournament and cashed INR 3,58,810 in prize money.

The Summit – 15 Lakh GTD

This Summit was conquered by Kunal Patni. Oh yes! PokerBaazi’s ‘The Summit’ was a 15 lakh GTD tournament. The advertised guarantee was crushed and a new prize pool of INR 18,38,000 was formed. The top 27 players were paid a min-cash of INR 15,250. Kunal Patni aka ‘VasooliChacha’ shipped the tournament and received a paycheque of INR 4,32,000. One of Patni’s recent achievements was when his team Deccan Aces won Poker Sports League Season 3 Virtual.
