Not one but two Millionaire winners were crowned last night on Spartan Poker! Adda52’s Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) also had Mini Main Event INR 1.5 Crore GTD. Here is a complete summary of Sunday majors across leading online platforms of the country…
One of the latest additions to Sunday schedule on Spartan Poker, The Millionaire INR 1 Crore GTD displayed a buy-in of INR 11,000. The intense battle nearly took 12 hours for the ultimate winner to come out on top and eventually it was ‘masterbluff’ who conquered a field of 886 runners bagging a hefty score of 7-digits! The champion defeated ‘1-855-925-7070’ in heads-up who secured the runner-up payout for his efforts.
UVS #42 The Millionaire Lite
It took three flights and 4 days for Sumit Sapra to power through the field and take down the prestigious UVS #42 The Millionaire Lite INR 35 Lakh GTD on Spartan Poker! Day 2 commenced with the remaining survivors from several Day 1s and the top 145 players ended in the money. The site promised 1 million to the first place which belonged to Sapra who outlasted Kunal Patni aka ‘TiltAtma’ in heads-up and clinched to the top prize.
A Sunday flagship event on Spartan Poker, Sunday SuperStack INR 35 Lakh GTD garnered a field of 766 entrants, collecting a bigger prize pool of INR 38.30 Lakh. The last man standing was Shashank Shekhar aka ‘Goldfish097’ who emerged victorious after defeating Manish Gandhi aka ‘potlords’ in heads-up and claimed the winner’s cash prize.
The UVS series concluded with the final event being UVS #45 Big Daddy INR 10 Lakh GTD on Spartan Poker. A total of 427 entries paid INR 2,200 buy-in out of which only the top 39 earned a min-cash. Topping the field was an Utkarsh Vaish aka ‘kidpokerNJ’ who beat ‘wirepower’ in heads-up and boosted his poker bankroll!
PokerBaazi hosted BSS Monster INR 5 Lakh GTD that attracted 203 entries after each paid INR 2,750. Slightly surpassing the guarantee and creating INR 5.08 Lakh in prize pool. Before the event concluded, money reached the top 24 players who took home INR 4K at least. Defeating Anirban Das aka ‘pottysingh’ in heads-up was ‘haywire’ who came out on top and grabbed INR 1.23 Lakh in prize money while Das captured INR 85,920.
Boasting INR 25 Lakh GTD BSS SuperStack kicked off at 7 pm last night on PokerBaazi pulling out 500 hopefuls. Racing through the field to grab the flagship event title was circuit grinder Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘dhineshrocky007’. The champion took INR 4.86 Lakh, a lion’s share of prize pool while Vinay Rajpal aka ‘vinay09’ earned INR 3.41 Lakh and secured the runner-up position.
The biggest attraction of Sunday was indeed AOPS Mini Main Event Finale promising a hefty INR 1.5 Crore on Adda52! A total of 7 starting flights drew a field of 1500+ and the remaining 238 survivors took their seats yesterday to battle for the incredible prize money. Riding past the field to seize a hefty INR 30 Lakh in prize money was Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘arjan30’ who knocked out Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ in heads-up and added a valuable title in his poker career. Mehrotra banked the second place payout of INR 16 Lakh.
Another big event on Adda52 was INR 5,500 buy-in AOPS Mega Stack INR 45 Lakh GTD which drew 906 entries. Generating a slightly bigger prize pool of INR 45.30 Lakh, the top 92 players earned a min-cash. Ultimately it was ‘mannu425’ who topped the list securing an impressive INR 11.09 Lakh in cash prize after eliminating Sagar Choudhury aka ‘alwaysnutz’ in heads-up for INR 6.07 Lakh.
Online reg Nitin Arora aka ‘Bigbluffs’ claimed back-to-back titles after triumphing last night’s AOPS Monster Turbo INR 10 Lakh GTD on Adda52. After winning AOPS Hexagram on Saturday, Arora took home INR 3.09 Lakh in prize money conquering a field of 523 entries and defeating ‘chirandh’ in heads-up.
PokerStars’ Sunday marquee event Sunday Special PKO INR 20 Lakh GTD logged in 368 entries. After 7+ hours of grinding, Rohit Mishra aka ‘PillowFlight22’ took down the tournament banking the first-place cash prize of INR 1.97 Lakh after beating Sagar Choudhury aka ‘sagarpupull’ in heads-up. Eventually, Choudhury secured the second-place payout of INR 1.43 Lakh, once again, after already finishing second in AOPS Mega Stack (read above).
The biggest buy-in event on PokerStars was Sunday Highroller INR 20 Lakh GTD. A total of 170 entrants registered themselves but money reached the top 27 places. Ultimately, the event concluded after a heads-up deal that saw Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham’ topping the list and capturing INR 3.58 Lakh in prize money while his opponent Gokul Raj aka ‘Haxton Jr’ walking out with INR 3.45 Lakh.
