The biggest attraction last night on Spartan Poker’s Spartan Super Series (SSS) was The Millionaire Legends INR 1.5 Crore GTD which came with the buy-in of INR 27,500. Well, seven more days to go before the conclusion of the popular series. Yesterday lined up 7 tournaments and Sunday feature Sunday SuperStack being another big event on the list. The day began with a total of 725 runners chipping in INR 880 to join the field. The guarantee was eventually surpassed creating INR 5.80 Lakhs in prize pool which was well-received by the top 63 finishers. Powering through the field and taking home the title was online reg ‘FunkeyFox’ who defeated ‘Pradeep768’ in heads-up and banked the first-place prize money.
Circuit grinder Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ took down the Afternoon Showdown after outlasting a field of 287 entries. Each entry paid INR 2,200 which generated a prize pool of INR 5.74 Lakhs and the top 27 finishers earned a min-cash of IR 5,740. Chadha defeated Pranjal Gandhi aka ‘lilmessipranjal’ in heads-up and pocketed the winner’s prize money.
The buy-in went down to become INR 1,100 attracting a total of 282 entries out of which only the top 27 players ended up earning a min-cash. The event concluded in level 37 when the players struck a 3-way deal which saw an anonymous player ‘Cassandra’ topping the list while ‘rahul827012’ secured the second placec payout.
Spartan Poker’s flagship tourney Sunday SuperStack pulled out a giant field of 1,005 entries after each paid INR 5,500. The guarantee was surpassed, and bigger prize pool of INR 50.25 Lakhs was created which was eventually shared among the top 27 players locking at least INR 14K. Defeating Ayan Ray aka ‘interlalia_1’ in heads-up was Nitin Gupta aka ‘mickyn34’ who emerged victorious and adding a valuable title to his poker CV.
And here we have our latest Millionaire Legends champ, circuit grinder Devang Yadav aka ‘equity_hunter’ who topped the multi-flight tournament after striking a heads-up deal with ‘karanmangla’. Day 2 commenced with only 106 survivors taking their seats out of which the top 100 places strolled out with a min-cash of INR 37,500. Yadav banked a hefty INR 30 Lakhs and added the winner’s title, becoming the biggest champion yesterday!
With a buy-in of INR 1,100 a total of 507 runners entered the field slightly surpassing the guarantee to create INR 5.07 Lakhs in prize pool. The top 47 entries received a paycheck which was distributed among the top 47 players securing INR 2K. Coming out on top was Anant Dwivedi aka ‘sh@rkfin’ who eliminated ‘Shefking’ in heads-up and secured the winner’s title.
The third day of SSS concluded with Big Daddy being the final tourney, The tournament fetched 524 entries for a buy-in of INR 2,200. The advertised guarantee crossed to create INR 10.48 Lakhs in prize pool. The last man standing was Rohit Behal aka ‘kudos0505’ who knocked out ‘guru’ in heads-up and clinched to the first-place prize money.
