PokerSaint’s 10L GTD: Ashish Kumar and Ashvin Rao win top 2 spots

PokerSaint is one of the leading poker websites in India. This December they have lined up more exciting tournaments to keep you grinding.

One such tournament that took place on Sunday was PokerSaint‘s 10 Lakh GTD. The buy-in for this huge GTD tournament was INR 2,500.  The game consisted of 306 entries and the prize money was distributed among 59 people. This was a five way deal where the winner and the first runner got similar prizes.

The winner, Ashish Kumar ‘MITSUBISHI’ cashed out with INR 115,763. The runner up Ashvin Rao ‘Nivhsa’ won INR 1.15 Lakh. And why is this special? Ashvin has made his stand very strong just by staying consistent in the game and that is a sign of a pro right there. As a player who began grinding just a few months ago, this is the first time that he has won more than 100K.

Why did Ashvin choose PokerSaint?

They give you a steeper distribution of the prize money. This benefits players as they always look for games that pays them a little sum from the huge prize pool. Another benefit that PokerSaint assures is that they keep giving offers to consistent players. This is one of the reasons why Ashvin has won around 50K – 70K in the past few months.

Ashvin has newly stepped into the industry with his gameplay but he grinds for at least 20 odd days every month. We asked Ashvin to share his thumb rule with our readers. Ashvin states, “Don’t get on a tilt mode even if you are losing a big stack. Don’t chase your chips. Do not be in the pursuit of winning back all the chips that you lost. Guard the chips you have and always stay patient.”

This win traces the progress of Ashvin and how the online platforms in India are providing a very lucrative service to its players. Ashvin Rao started out by playing 1/2 rupees on Cash Tables and has now come up to 100/200. With respect to tournaments, he started playing for small buy-ins of INR 250 and now plays for 2,500 and more.

PokerSaint is known for the huge offers that they provide to their players on an everyday basis. If you missed out on their tournaments that took place last Sunday, don’t worry. There’s a lot more in store for you. Keep reading GutshotMagazine.com for more updates about online poker tournaments, cash game series, Freerolls, contests, and more.
