Clinton Tavares and Pratyush Ladha shoved their stack of 27K all-in preflop with snowmen. Rajesh Rajpopat and Nikhil Jalan called from the button holding the Big Slick. The board of Q  7 ♣ A K 2 ♠ gave Rajpopat-Jalan their winning two pairs as they happily walk away with the WPT trophy and a pay cheque of ₹4,58,000. 

Tavares-Pratyush finished second for a payday of ₹2,70,000.

Navneet Anantharaman and Prateek Uppal Exit At The Sixth Spot

Navneet Anantharaman and Prateek Uppal shoved all-in with 45K chips. Rajesh Rajpopat and Nikhil Jalan called with pocket sixes. Anantharaman-Uppal flipped a K6. The board showed 2 ♦ 6 ♦ T  J ♣ Q ♠. Rajpopat-Jalan shipped the event with three-of-a-kind, while Anantharaman-Uppal succumber at the sixth place for a payout of ₹71,000.

Rohit – Stalion Out Of The Teams NLH Race!

The team of Rohit Chauhan and Stalion Manoharan (7 ♦ 9  ) locked horns with Clinton Tavares and Pratyush who had Ad ♦ Kc ♣. The community cards read:  A ♠ J ♣ 6 ♣ 4  5 ♦ . This gave Clinton – Pratyush a reason to smile as they survived while their opponent team busted in the 4th position for ₹1,17,000.

LEVEL 19, BLINDS: 6K/12K, ANTE 12K The pair of Abhishek and Sandeep decided to go all-in with their remaining tournament life of 31K holding Q T ♠ from UTG. The rival pair consisting of Clinton Tavares and Pratyush made the call from the middle position with A6s. The dealer fanned out a board of 4 8 5 ♠ A ♣ 5 ♣. This gave Clinton – Pratyush pair two pairs with their AA, 55. But sadly for the competition team, it was wrap up team at the 5th spot for ₹93,900.

It sure hurts when the mighty fall and this hand in the Teams NLH Freezeout sees aces being cracked. Want to know what happened? Just keep reading. Loveleen Singh along with Ranjit Negi held AAo while their rivals (Stalin Manoharan – Rohit) had J9c. Preflop saw the Aao team throw 10K into the pot, while the Stalin – Rohit pair called from under the gun (UTG). The board ultimately revealed 5  3 ♠ 5 ♣ 2 ♣ T ♣. Not so much by the flop, but team Stalin – Rohit team were blessed by the turn and river as they hit a flush and scooped the pot. And what to say about the aces? They turn into duds when the opportunity presents itself.

15 Teams Remaining In Teams NLH Freezeout

LEVEL: 12, BLINDS: 1,500/2,500, ANTE 2,500

The field is now down to the final 15 teams. The top six teams will secure a spot in the money, with the team winning the event taking home a handsome ₹4,58,000. 

Final Prize Pool Announced!

LEVEL: 8, BLINDS: 500/1,000, ANTE 1,000

The final prize pool and payouts for the Teams NLH Freezeout has finally been announced. The event has a final prize pool of ₹11,73,900. The top six teams will take home their share from the prize pool. The event saw a total of 43 teams participation, out of which only 24 teams are currently grinding.

Registrations Closed For Teams NLH Freezeout

The registrations for the Teams NLH Freezeout event have come to an end. The event saw a total of 43 teams that registered. Among them only 31 teams now remain in the field. They will now play on rotational basis till the final three teams are reached. Post that all six players will play on the same table

WPT Prime India 2023 Teams NLH Freezeout Kicks-Off

One of the most interesting events on the schedule of World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime India 2023 has flagged off here at the glamorous Deltin Royale Casino in Goa. The event has a unique concept wherein two players can team up and play. 

Here, the first team member will start playing at Level 1 with 7,500 chips. If the first team member is busted during the first level itself he/she will be replaced by the second team member, who again sits with the 7,500 chips and plays he remaining first level and the second to maintain the order of participation keeping it consistent with the team members swapping every level. On the final table, players will swap every round. When the field is down to just the final three teams, both members of the team will sit together. 

The event has a buy-in of ₹30,000. The registrations will stay open till the end of Level 7. Each level at this tourney will last for 20 minutes. We will keep you updated with all the latest happenings at this event so stay tuned to Gutshot Magazine.
