After a deal was struck between Gaurav Kalra and Vinay B to end the Big Bounty NLH tourney, both players grinded for the trophy. Kalra triumphed over his rival and grabbed the coveted WPT Prime India 2023 Big Bounty NLH for a prize money worth ₹6,70,000.

It was a long battle in the Big Bounty NLH where online and live poker reg Vinay B finished as runner-up. For the unversed, Vinay and his heads-up rival Gaurav Kalra struck a deal to end the tourney and fought for the title. Let’s take a look at Vinay’s bust out hand which led to Kalra winning the shiny new Big Bounty NLH. 

Vinay (K 7 ) from the button goes all-in and Guarav (T 8 ) makes the call. The board ran out A 5 J T 3 . This gave Guarav T-pair which was good enough to thrash Vinay’s dream of winning a WPT Big Bounty title. Vinay finished 2nd for ₹6,63,000.

The two finalists have decided on a two-way deal after playing the heads-up for almost two hours now. According to the deal, Gaurav Kalra will take home ₹6,70,000, while Vinay B will have ₹6,63,000 to carry home. However, the two players will continue to play for the title and the coveted WPT trophy.

Vinay hits Ace-pair on the river. This was Rajguru’s cue to get and leave on the 3rd spot for ₹3,54,000.

Harikrishna Busted 4th

In this hand, Vinay goes all-in from the small blind position Q 3 . Harikrishna Reddy from big blind position calls with K 9 . The dealer opened the board as: 9 T Q 8 5 . Big Bounty NLH Has Two Bust Outs!

Two players have now exited the super intense Big Bounty NLH. The tourney saw two players, namely, Zerxes Mistry and Ravi Prabhakar. Zerxes and Mistry’s journey ended in this event when Vinay B played the perfect villain (he knocked out both the above mentioned players). 

Vinay made sure the final table is lighter with these two eliminations at his hands, and now the pro has inched closer to the top prize of ₹7.83 Lakh. While Mistry left at the 8th place for ₹98,000 Check out the hand where Vinay B hits a flush to drown his rival Prabhakar.

Prabhakar had K J and goes on all-in preflop. Vinay sits with 8 8 and follows suit. Guarav Kalra folds. The dealer reveals the board as: J K 5 5 7  . These cards gave Vinay a flush and with that his rival’s dream of winning the Big Bounty event were thrashed. Prabhakar left at the 6th pace for a payday of ₹1,41,500.

Cyrus Sidhwa Busted From Big Bounty NLH!

Cyrus Sidhwa goes all-in with 400K holding Ad Qh . His rival Advait Rajguru (6d 6c ), makes the call with pocket sixes. The community cards fell Qs 8c 4d Jc 6s . The online reg Rajguru hit a set with his sixes and Sidhwa’s hand (Q-pair) was rendered useless. Sidhwa took the 7th spot for ₹1,19,000

It’s a busy and bustling day here at the WPT Prime India 2023 aboard the Deltin Royale poker room with five events taking place at the same time. The events that are currently happening are MegaStack Closer, 50K 8 Max and Turbo Closer, as well as two final tables namely High Roller and Big Bounty NLH. 

The action is in full swing, and the players are excited. A big shoutout to the organisers and Tournament Directors, who are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that everything functions smoothly. 

Vinay B Knocks Out Somashekhar!

Level 26, Blinds, 30K/60, Ante 60K

The Big Bounty NLH tournament continues to see bust outs. The next player to bow out was Somashekhar KM. This time around too, it was Vinay B who knocked his rival out and added bounties to his credit. Take a look at Somashekhar’s bust out hand below.

The flop (J 4 2 ) and turn (A ) was checked by both warring rivals. The river of (8 ) saw Vinay B (A 4 ) go all-in (hit two pairs) and Somashekhar (A 6 ) called whilst banking on his Ace-pair. But that did not end well for  Somashekhar as his one pair did him no good and he had to leave the tourney at the 5th place for ₹171,000.

Peush Singhvi First Casualty On The FT

Peush Singhvi has become the first player to get eliminated from the WPT Prime India 2023 Big Bounty event. After he shoved all-in from the UTG with 215K chips holding A 9 . Xerxes Mistry called from the cut-off with the Big Slick. The board brought J 6 T 5 2 and Singhvi’s hole cards did not hold any water. Singhvi took the ninth place for ₹77,700.

Deepankur Gupta Is Big Bounty FT Bubble Boy

Online reg Deepankur Gupta’s journey came to an end in the Big Bounty NLH event. The poker pro locked horns with Harikrishna Reddy (8c 9h) who was on the small blind. Reddy went all-in and Gupta (8d 8s) called with a shorter stack. The dealer fanned out a board of J J A 4 9 . This gave Reddy two pairs (JJ, 99) and Gupta busted as his pocket eights couldn’t hold water. Sadly Gupta turned the bubble boy in this WPT Prime India 2023 Big Bounty NLH tourney. Gupta busted at the 10th spot for ₹66K.

More players have exited the WPT Prime India 2023 Big Bounty NLH event. The 19th to 21st place finishers cashed ₹38,500, while players who finished from 16th to 18th place got ₹47,000.

Welcome To Day 2 Of Big Bounty NLH

Day 2 of the Big Bounty NLH event has begun with the top 23 players all set to lock horns for the ultimate title. The event resumes today at Level 19 with blinds 6K/12K, with each level lasting for 40 minutes. All the remaining 23 players have assured a place in the money with the event paying out the top 36 players. 

23 Players Advance To Day 2

The field is down to the final 23 players who will return tomorrow to battle it out. All the 23 are in the money and have assured themselves a minimum of ₹31,000. The player played 18 levels of 30 minutes each. The game will resume tomorrow at Level 19, with each level lasting for 40 minutes each.

After the bubble burst, the event saw some quick bustouts at the Big Bounty event with all the players making it in the money. The first set of payouts was paid from the 28th to the 37th place. All the players who finished in these spots took home ₹24,000.
