On Level 37, 40K/80K, big blind ante 80K, Daewoong Song opened with 160K from the button position. Indian poker pro Ritwik Khanna defends from big blind. Flop showed Jc 5c 8s. Song c-bets to 135K and Khanna check-raised to 360K. Song goes all-in and Khanna is deep in tank so much so that he used up all his time bank chips and in the end folded. Khanna now has 935,000 in his kitty to fight ahead.

On Level 32: 10K/25K, big blind ante 25K, Amit Kaushik defends his big blind when Masich opened with 50K. The flop came as Th 6c 3s. Kaushik bets 65K and his rival calls; both players check the turn of 8c. 4h came on the river and Kaushik threw 175K which saw Masich raise to 400K. The Indian pro folded. Kaushik will try his best to add to his trophy tally in the Main Event after his Turbo event victory at the USOP Da Nang 2023.

On Level 31, 10K/20K, big blind ante 20K, USOP Da Nang 2023 Main Event Day 2 now has 68 players in contention. The players are on their second break for the day.

On Level 30, 10K/15K, big blind ante 15K, Natalia Rozova min-raises from the button position. Blinds call, and all three players checked the flop 7s 3h 6s. The turn brought 5s and small blind player, Dang Van Hien bet 25K, big blind player folds and remaining two call. 2h comes on the river and Dang again goes for a bet but this time for 80K.

Rozova matches and Hien shows QTo but Rozova scoops the hand with top pair (J7s). Immediately after this, Rozova raises to 30K from the cutoff position. Harsh Bubna from small blind re-raises 185K and his rival shoves. Bubna throw his remaining chips in the middle. Rozova has pocket nines while Bubna had pocket sixes and the board read 2s 8s Jd 2d 3s. Bubna was eliminated.

The players grinding in the Main Event Day 2 are on their first break of the day. Now, with the game on Level 29, 6K/12K, big blind ante 12K, 117 will further slog it out for the top spot once the game resumes.

After some nail-biting action across the two final starting day flights to the USOP Da Nang 2023 Main Event, the day has ended on a high note. Day 1C had record-setting 576 entries from which 72 qualified into Day 2. 

Day 1D registered 304 entries and 38 survived ahead. The total number of entries recorded at the USOP Da Nang 2023 ME is 1,595 out of which 201 will battle it out at the coveted Day 2. Indian pros like Avneesh Munjal (193,000 chips) and Rohit Begwani (149,000 chips) qualified for Day 2 via Day 1D.

Indian poker pro Meherzad Munsaf is leading the pack of survivors from Main Event flight Day 1B with a stack of 989,000. Munsaf battled a player field of 382 to be the chip leader at the end. Only 48 have survived and advanced into Day 2 of the Main Event.

Apart from Munsaf, Amit Kaushik has also qualified for Day 2 with a stack of 720,000. The IIT Roorkee graduate has the fourth highest stack among the 48 survivors. 

There are five more Indian poker players who qualified for Day 2 via flight Day 1B, they are, Vishal Ojha, Siddharth Karia, Mohit Bohra, Kabir Khattar, and Aditya Singh. The total number of chips in play were 15,426,000 and the average stack size was 312,375.

The community cards fell as Q 2 7 9 T . This gave Thuc a flush and a win. Dela Cruz was walking towards the exit door.
