Indian poker pro Meherzad Munsaf is leading the pack of survivors from Main Event flight Day 1B with a stack of 989,000. Munsaf battled a player field of 382 to be the chip leader at the end. Only 48 have survived and advanced into Day 2 of the Main Event.
Apart from Munsaf, Amit Kaushik has also qualified for Day 2 with a stack of 720,000. The IIT Roorkee graduate has the fourth highest stack among the 48 survivors.
There are five more Indian poker players who qualified for Day 2 via flight Day 1B, they are, Vishal Ojha, Siddharth Karia, Mohit Bohra, Kabir Khattar, and Aditya Singh. The total number of chips in play were 15,426,000 and the average stack size was 312,375.
