IOPC Day 17: Arjanveer Singh Chadha on a winning spree, Priyank Kothari, Prakash Gupta among winners


Day 17 of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) was a major hit among players. The virtual felts of Spartan Poker were filled with players who won lakhs in prize money. There were many high value tournaments and here’s a recap of all that happened yesterday.

IOPC #106 – 5.25 Lakhs GTD

The first tournament of the day was an INR 770 buy-in event. The tournament had a total of 588 entries and the top 47 players were paid a min-cash of INR 2,992. The winner of this tournament was Priyank Kothari aka ‘Piko’ who took a paycheque of INR 89,287.

IOPC #107 – 6 Lakhs GTD

IOPC #108 – Monster Stack – 5.25 Lakhs GTD

Monster Stack was an INR 880 buy-in tournament which had 730 entries in total. The top 63 players were paid a min-cash of INR 2,540. The winner of this Monster Stack tournament was ‘legendof91’ who cashed an impressive INR 1,13,004 in prize money.

The Crown Day 1F

The sixth flight of the prestigious IOPC Main Event witnessed a lot of high intensity action. The first chip leader was Abhijeet Kumar aka ‘ikilldonks’ with a finishing stack of 3,32,625. Following Kumar was ‘rajkumar0908’ with a finishing stack of 2,35,494 as the second chip leader.

IOPC #109 – Titan Stack – 25 Lakhs GTD

This tournament had 662 entries in total and the top 63 players were paid a min-cash of INR 11,518. The advertised guarantee was crushed, and an even bigger prize pool of INR 26,48,000 was formed. The winner of this tournament was Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ who laughed his way to the bank with a whopping INR 4,42,159 in prize money.

IOPC #110 – PLO High Roller – 50 Lakhs GTD

The PLO High Roller tournament, with a buy-in of INR 27,500 was a highly anticipated tournament. The game is paused currently and will resume soon. Shrey Maheshwary aka ‘oohmaahaa’ was leading with a chip stack of 21,92,365. He was followed by Anant Purohit aka ‘Prometheius’ and Roopesh Maheshwari aka ‘StillDrawing’ who had 10,46,555 and 10,16,128 respectively.

IOPC #111 – House Party – 13 Lakhs GTD

This INR 2,200 buy-in tournament had a total of 635 entries in total. The top 55 players were paid a min-cash of INR 6,370 and the winner of this tournament was Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker.’ Mehta added INR 2,52,200 to his bankroll.
