Poker Players With Highest Cashes In WSOP

The biggest poker show on the planet kicked-off amid high expectations, with the 54th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) hoping to smash some records. Players have been busy preparing for this marquee event, which is running full steam in the Sin City.

A lot of players earn stardom or legendary status, citing their performances in this tournament series. Given the importance of the live poker series, let’s have a look at all the players who’ve made the highest number of cashes in the history of WSOP.

Most Cashes in WSOP

Phil Hellmuth

This Palo Alto-based poker pro has won 16 WSOP bracelets so far! The American also holds the record for most top 10 finishes in WSOP, having reached the final table an overwhelming 76 times. He has been very successful at WSOP, registering 163 cashes in the tournament. The 58-year-old is ranked 22nd on the All Time Money List and 15th in the USA All Time Money List. Also known as ‘The Poker Brat,’ Hellmuth has pocketed around $29,000,000 in live tournament winnings.

Roland Israelashvili

Israelashvili, who is a big race car enthusiast, got the name ‘Speedy,’ citing his love for cars. His poker career is very intriguing as the American has a ton of cashes but no bracelets. Yes, you read it right. Despite grinding in so many WSOP events, this poker pro failed to win even one WSOP gold bracelet.

Israelashvili has a stronghold in the WSOP circuit events, having cashed in 157 events so far. With over $4,244,259 in live tournament earnings, it would be interesting to see if the veteran can end his streak and finally walk away with a WSOP gold bracelet this time around.

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu needs no introduction, with the Canadian poker pro winning the WSOP bracelets six times and numerous other titles and accolades. He has recorded 152 cashes in the tournament history, which is the third most by any poker player, just five behind Roland Israelashvili.

One of the most notable names in the poker industry, Negreanu sits at the number three slot in the All Time Money List, having pocketed over $50,728,306 in live tournament earnings. All eyes will be on Negreanu at WSOP. His fans are waiting to know how soon he will topple Israelashvili’s record and move up the ladder.

Chris Ferguson

This 60-year-old poker star has won six WSOP bracelets. A PhD in computer science by education, Ferguson has 138 cashes in WSOP. Nicknamed ‘Jesus’ because of his trademark long brown hair and beard, Fergusson made his first WSOP appearance in 1995 and won his first bracelet in 2000. Pocketing over $9,584,547 in total live earnings, Ferguson continues to be amongst the most popular poker players in the world!

Barry Greenstein

Barry Greenstein finds himself fifth on the list of most WSOP cashes. The American pro won three WSOP bracelets as well as two World Poker Tour (WPT) titles. He is nicknamed ‘the Robin Hood of poker’ as Greenstein donates his profit from poker to charities. Being elected into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2011, the 68-year-old has won $8,539,163 in total live earnings.
