The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2023 Main Event at the Baha Mar Resort, The Bahamas, has finally concluded. Portuguese player Michel Dattani conquered the title to mark the first-ever major live title of his career for a pay cheque of $1,316,963

The PCA returned to The Bahamas after four long years for this edition. After six days of starting flights, the top six players returned to play on the final day of the Main Event. The event recorded a total of 889 entries who entered the $10,300 buy-in event and generated a prize pool of $8,623,300.

After over four hours of play on the final day, Dattani and fellow countryman Pedro Neves agreed to an ICM deal, according to which Dattani was assured $1,316,963 while Neves was assured $1,183,037. The two continued to play for the title and an additional $50,000. After 20 minutes into the heads-up, Neves called off his stack, holding a top pair, while Dattani had the nut flush.
