Ole ‘wizowizo’ Schemion wins second 2020 SCOOP title!

The May madness continues! We are officially four weeks into the incredible PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) series and Ole Schemion aka ‘wizowizo’ stands tall for his second SCOOP title the current series and over 4th overall! One of the most prolific poker player across the world, Schemion stood victorious in Event 102 earning $258,639 in prize money.

Event #102-H: $10,300 buy-in NLHE High Roller

The Event enrolled 118 runners after paying $10,300 buy-in, generating a prize pool of $1.18 million that surpassed the $1 million guarantee, giving the survivng players at least $21K in min-cash. A few notables to cash include Fedor ‘CrownUpGuy’ Holz, Adrian ‘Amadi_017’ Mateos, Pieter ‘XMorphineX’ Aerts and Alexander ‘Alexgirs’ Girs.

It was Canada’s Daniel Dvoress to depart from the table in 6th place for $72K. Soon poker pro Steve ‘Mr. Tum Caum’ O’Dwyer who left in 4th for $120K. And heads-up got underway with the elimination of ‘limitless’ between Ole ‘wizowizo’ Schemion and ‘megaliciou$$$’. Leaving the latter in the second place, the German player Schemion took home his second title along with $258,639 in prize money while his opponent secured $200K.

Schemion’s first 2020 SCOOP title came in Event #16 High $2,100 buy-in Six Max PLO on 4 May. The champion sits 5th in Germany’s all-time money list with over $16 million in total live winnings. Schemion has made his eight final table and third six-figure payout in the series!

The winner wasn’t alone among the repeat winners on Wednesday, as both Tobias ‘Senkel92’ Leknes and ‘Bomber&Granater’ also claimed their second SCOOP-titles of the 2020 series.
