NPS 2022: Check Out The ME Final Table Contenders

The 2022 edition of the National Poker Series (NPS) took place in all glory on the virtual felts of PokerBaazi. After breaking several records and successfully hosting the events online from 6th to 20th March 2022, the final tables (FT) of three marquee events are all set to be held live at the PokerBaazi LIVE in Goa.

Following multiple starting flights, the FT of the coveted Main Event (ME) will be held live tomorrow. The NPS 2022 ME had a record-breaking 6,202 entries across the flights for a mammoth prize pool of ₹3.1 crore. The field has now condensed down to the final eight making their way to Goa to play the FT.

Let’s have a look at the FT contenders who will compete for the Main Event crown.

Chirag Sodha – 20,800,000 Chips

Chirag Sodha

Chirag Sodha aka ‘Miyagi’ is a well-known name in the Indian poker circuit and is seen grinding regularly online. With 97 titles and a lifetime total of ₹7.14 crore to his credit, can Sodha manage to grab his 98th title by shipping this event? A chip lead position definitely makes him one of the players to keep an eye on. Sodha is one of the most deserving contenders to take down the Main Event title.

Be it IOPC, Final Table Series (FTS) or NPS, Mishra is making his presence felt across tournaments and leaderboards. With 92 titles under his belt, and lifetime total of ₹2.67 crore. Mishra can surely make the tables turn and assure some intense action on the FT.

Rajesh Pawar – 8,514,000 chips

Next is a rather lesser-known name Rajesh Pawar who plays by the moniker ‘Path1716.’ Though he has made a few appearances on the virtual felts, not much is known about this player. Can his lesser-known player prove to be dangerous on the FT or will he succumb?
